Original Mod <----LINK

Your colonists can never be a true Rambo if they cannot gun while they are running. Therefore, this mod adds a mode that, when enabled, allows drafted colonists to shoot
while moving at the cost of an accuracy and movement penalty.These penalties can be modified in the mod settings of this mod.
Some things to take into account:
- Fire at will should be enabled. Firing manually will cause the pawn to stop running.
- RunAndGun mode can only be enabled when the pawn is drafted, and is carrying a ranged weapon in its hands.
- The movement penalty is only applied at the moment the pawn is actually shooting or cooling down after shooting. So don't bother disabling RunAndGun every time you just want your pawn to walk somewhere.

Dependencies
This mod depends on Hugslib, so make sure that mod loads before this mod does.

Compatibility
This mod should be compatible with existing saves, and removing the mod from saves shouldn't introduce problems. Moreover, this mod should be compatible with most other mods (including Combat Extended). However, keep in mind that this is hard to test for me by myself, and this is the first release.
Therefore some issues regarding mod compatibility are bound to come up. Most issues that come up should be easy to fix, so please report any problems.

If your encountering issues with dupelicated load ID's, you need to unsubscribe to the original mod

thats curious, defo sounds like a confilict with Something your running, as im not seeing any errors on startup on this end. However without a log of the error, theres very little i can suggest. though my guess is its Not VE, just because if it Was VE, id exspect to see more people reporting the issue, im afraid im not familar with the hrk mod you mentioned, but try without it and see if the problem persists

by 'the player data' are you refering to your save file?, if so its likely something recursively saving data inside itself, id suggest opening up the save in a text editor and seeing if theres anything odd going on

heyo, after installing the mod, it always opens an error log at the beginning of the game, and also after installation, the player data is giving the problem of having an exorbitant size. I downloaded the vanilla expanded mods for weapons and more hrk (gun nut). I believe it is incompatible with one of these:steamsad:

cheers for posting the fix, but he wasnt accusing RnG of being the culprit, just Hugslib, i was curious why he wanted to be rid of it

Fix for ghouls and allow tool, its just an issue with them not with run and gun

i had a look at tjat mod, i dont think its really applicable here. at least for mod options
primarily, the issue is the entire mod options menu is built on hugslib functionality- as i dont use Hugslib for anything other than its logging functionality myself- im at a Total loss as to the 'How' it works and does what it does

on the Ghouls, i think theres Another mod in the mix, cause with hugslib loaded they work on my end

Ghouls are unable to use melee, because it is disabled by Allow Tool, apparently. When I first tried to track it down, I removed Hugslib and the issue disappeared so I (and a few others) believed it was Hugslib causing the issue. Oh and apparently there is an issue with mod search and hugslib? Unsure as I use the mod "Mod Options Sort" that has its own search field.

XML Extensions ( https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2574315206 ) is primarily focused on XML mods. That being said, Niilo's QoL mod has an assembly and also requires it.
