Description
Good Afternoon Workshop!

Today's asset is the Mid-Continent Tower from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
This is a very iconic building in the Tulsa skyline, and it has a rather unique history. While its architecture screams that it was built during the early 20th century, only the bottom 16 floors - and half of that part as well - was built then, in 1918. The remaining 20 floors were built in 1984, 66 years after the original Cosden building was built. These floors were not built on top of the building, however - instead, an extension to the original building on the east side of the building supports the extra tower, on which the 20 floor tower is cantilevered onto the original Cosden building. Unique, huh?

From Wikipedia:
The Mid-Continent Tower is a 36-story skyscraper located at 401 South Boston Avenue in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. At 156 meters (513 ft) in height, it is the fourth-tallest building in Tulsa and fifth-tallest in Oklahoma. Faced with bright white terra cotta and crowned with a distinctive copper roof, it is one of the city's most recognizable buildings. The design is unique because the first 16-story structure was built in 1918. The top 20 stories comprise a separate structure, cantilevered over the first 66 years later. The architects of the addition matched the design of the original structure so carefully that the result is considered a single structure. It is included as a contributing structure in Tulsa's Oil Capital Historic District.

@Jadeus of course mate! Yeah, I thought I wasn't gonna enjoy making the BOK Tower but it was the first building I made so I thought it would be an easy first asset. I agree though, I never saw anything from Tulsa except for the Meadow Gold sign, so I wanted to try my hand at it, glad you and so many others like them! I definitely will prioritize the more intricate, art deco and gothic buildings around here, yeah: I'm starting to work on the Philtower, Boston Avenue Methodist Church, and some stuff from Bartlesville even! Thank you.

Sorry! I posted my comment before I saw that you already did a BOK Tower! Yours looks great. I was just saying that probably other modders have already rendered the World Trade Center many times over and for that reason may not be interesting to make (and also just putting out some local history). I'm adding all of these to my asset list.

Thanks Again.
