Difficulty: Medium-Hard
Backstory:

Someone screwed up. Screwed up big. Our top Intelligence Agency Officer on the Cuban island was abducted while visiting an informant. After two weeks of extesive search and locate operations, a cartel owned prison island off the coast of Colombia has been identified as a likely target. The cartel is known to have ties with both the Cuban terrorist cells and the ELN crime organisation. You are being deployed by boat, once you have positively identified the VIP, additional resources will be expended. Good luck.

Think I see your issue - each trigger in your sequence that toggles the lights needs another delayed trigger that toggles the light back off; I don't think disabling the proximity trigger after it's activated will work, if that's why you've set it up the way you have and I'm understanding it correctly :)

Hm yes I see. The flashing is supposed to stop after about half a second. Something I have to check out it seems.

To be clear: it occurs in the middle of the map, when the VIP is released in his cell. Not at the end when he reaches the helicopter.

The game does not slow down for me when the bug occurs. The moment the alarm goes off when freeing the prisoner in his cell, the whole screen starts flashing quite intensely - and that intense flashing keeps going until I exit the map.

Ah yes I think I know what you mean. The flashing doesn't slow down does it?
I've given this quite a bit of thought a while ago and sent some feedback to the devs.
This is, infact, a bug. But quite a subtle one.
When a map ends the game slows down, right?
You see all the players physics slowing down, so you would be excused to think the entire game is slowing down.
That is not quite correct.
The flashing you see, is the game slowing down (so, 2 seconds becomes 10 seconds).
But! (here comes the important part) the frequency of flashing lights doesn't slow down.
So instead of a very slowly flashing light you get a normal flashing light, just, a lot longer.

The bug is on a todo list I *think* but I should prob send in another 'hey, this is a bug' message.

Well 2 seconds would be fine, but for me it never stopped flashing unfortunately. I can provide a replay or screen recording if that helps

There is a very fast flashing effect once the vip reaches the start of the helicopter platform that should only be active for ~2 seconds. Do you mean this flash? Or is there another bug I'm not experiencing?

Awesome map, but the alarm light flashing effect once the VIP is free is unbearable and unfortunately makes it literally unplayable for me. I think this actually needs a seizure warning for people with epilepsy. Maybe you'd consider removing that light flashing effect?
