40k Tech-Priest Class

설명
40k Tech-Priest:
An adept of the Martian priesthood, sworn to seek out lost knowledge using devastating beam, laser, and heavy weaponry. He focuses on enhancing and augmenting himself and his weapons to overpower his enemy and uses many different devices to do so.

Active abilities:
  • Omnissian Axe
    • A heavy slashing greataxe that slices projectiles.

  • Solar Atomiser
    • Charge a heavy laser cannon with devastating power and infinite pierce.

  • Graviton Field
    • Deploy a gravity manipulating device that slows and debuffs enemies.

  • Wrath of Mars
    • Releases powerful beams from the Mechanical Arms destroying all surrounding matter in the area.

Passive abilities:
  • Incense Candles
    • Drop a candle on enemy death that dispenses a rich incense that buffs allies.

  • Mechanical Arms
    • Mount mechanical arms on your back which scan the surrounding area and blast all enemies within their range.

  • Laser upgrades
    • Upgrades all laser and beam weapons (visually as well) to further destroy the enemy.

Class titles give mana regen bonus.

Additional features:
  • 2 custom voices to choose from
  • Servo Skull long range pet

Steps to play as the Tech-Priest:

1. Make a backup of your profile just in case.
2. Click the mod gear and enable the Tech-Priest mod for that profile
3. Make a new character of any class
4. Talk to Kelly the Modder NPC in town near the mine entrance.
5. Select Tech-Priest, this will convert your current character to this class.

Thanks to everyone in the HoH community and the modding forum, and to my friends for helping with spritework and general ideas!

I have noticed the class has a hidden evasion stat that seems to be mighty high. On a fresh profile, with no upgrade nor items, I stood idle in a swarm of beetles.I got hit only about 20% of the time. Evasion is still written as being 0%.

Is that intended?

I feel like you realy need like 1 morepixel of range on the basic ability (maybe even more), its always so close to hitting, but maybe its just me

Wolfie,
I got my Tech Priest to level 10 by now and I really must say that he gets quite a lot stronger once you get the graviton field and mechanical arms. It's definitely hard mode when you start playing him, especially if it's the first hero on this profile, so you might want to start out with a different class

@Wolfie he's now been rebalanced to give him some better early game strength, stat rebalance, and some regen off abilities for survivability. Hope the current patch (4) fixes any problems you were having! Thanks for the feedback

I kinda feel the same as Wattmann, thematically i couldt have wished for more, however gameplay wise he starts falling of really hard when his lack of defense and regeneration forces you to focus more on dodging and staying alive rather than doing meaningful damage

@23-30 Wattmann added you to clarify what you mean, thanks for the feedback though!

I like the tech priest and think you did a good job on him, but he is so damn weak that it's a pain to grind him. The damage on his laser is also way too high on the upper floors, while the mana cost so high that one rarely has enough mana for more than 3 consecutive shots
