DAF 2021 Eindhoven Special Edition
Mod Version 2.50
ETS2 Version: 1.47 (and newer)

Cost: 14000 Euro
Unlock Level: 10

Truck list:
- DAF 2021 XG
- DAF 2021 XG+
- DAF 2021 XF

This paint job is meant for the DAF only, it's meant to add some real paint variants from the past on this great new DAF truck.
The idea was to give a 'special edition' tye paint job to the brand new truck yet to keep the yellow theme in it.
All paints used are excisting paints used by DAF in the past and present.

- 1973 DAF - Neon Yellow 109

Version 2
- 1970 DAF - Distingo 1240
- 1973 DAF - Polaro DAF 104

Version 3
- 1973 DAF - Polaro DAF 104
- RAL 5015 SKY BLUE

Version 4
- 1973 DAF - Polaro DAF 104
- RAL 3003 Ruby Red

NOTE: Each paint job has a regular paint version plus a metallic paint version!

Future updates:

Q&A

Q: Why no cistern trailers?
A: Because of the skin base being more chromed causing the skin to look way different, obviously seen with the Schwarzmüller DLC for example.

Q: When can we see [truck brand] added?
A: This is for the DAF 2021 ONLY. I do not intent to add other trucks to this pack ever.

Q: When can we see [trailer brand] added?
A: I am planning on adding VAK, Ekiri, Knapen, Kraker, NTM and Närko box trailers. However this will take time and I do not intent to do that short term. There are other mods that require attention as well.

UPDATE INFO:

I was working on the lifestock trailers, which are now finished.
So those will come soon! (See picture on my Twitter if interested: @YouriAshton )

However I found a major problem and I have no clue why this happened or how.
I can redo the truck for about 70% as files either disappeared or got corrupted.
This means I have no other choice then to wait with the next update until I fixed all of these issues first. I do not know how long it will take, but I am working on it!

Sorry for it taking so long, but I have little choice in the matter at this stage other then delay it. I do hope you will have fun using the file that's currently online which should be perfectly fine.

1.47 Confirmed to work as intended

I did NOT add anything yet, please be patient!
I need to confirm if the new trailers can be added and whether things will work out as intended regarding this. This will take a bit of time.

Planned Additions:
- Feldbinder DLC
- Livestock trailer
- LPG trailer

UPDATE 1.45 (update 1)

This update is meant to add the dumper trailer support and add the XF 2021 cab.
Also some fixes for broken parts is now added.


New:
- XF 2021 Cab is now added! (All cabs now present!)
- Dumper trailer is now supported!

Fixes:
- I was required to fix some truck and trailer parts for 1.45

Known Bugs:
- Sunvisor still not fixed

Known Issues (not bugs)
- Not all DAF 2021 mods work, some even disappeared.

Regarding Update 1.45 (update 2)

This update is planned to have support for the 1.45 trailers.
I will need to gain the templates and XML files in order to do this obviously.
Potential bugs should be added to this one

It's 6:10 AM now, I'm still working hard on getting some progress.

The XG and XG+ are now finished (all issues fixed that I could fix)
The XF is being worked on now

I decided to just get the XF finished as well.
I just hope the tandems/rigids don't drop in coming week haha/

UPDATE REGARDING 1.44 - ADDITIONAL INFO

DAF XG and XG+ Issues:
- Sunscreen XG, XG+ (known issue)
- Side deflectors XG, XG+ (new issue)
- Front Bumper (new issue)

DAF XF 2021 issues:
- Needs a skin build from scratch
- Only a few parts seem to function properly

Bugs fixed/changes (Trailers):
- Krone 'Bumper - Paint II' added
- Krone Cool Liner "DAF 2021 Eindhoven Special Edition Metallic" had a wrong texture for the cooling unit, this has now been corrected.

New trailers supported:
- SCS Dumper support (These do NOT have metallic variants for obvious reasons!)

UPDATE REGARDING 1.44 - PLEASE READ AND COMMENT!:

I think I will need to inform you, the users of this mod, about what issues I ran into and why this is going to take much longer then I hoped for. This due to SCS Software changing already existing DAF 2021 parts and how skins are applied to them I ran into new issues on top of the old ones.

Now I ask you what you prefer.
I ask you to comment on this thread so I can see what you rather prefer.


1. Stop-gap update
Fix the XG and XG+ cabs and then release the update to support 1.44
This will take me 1 or 2 days I think, depending on how quick I can get things to work properly.

2. Finish the update as intended.
This is the previous point + adding all new parts + the DAF XF 2021 cab.
This likely takes 1 week minimum, likely longer.

The dumper trailers are almost done, need to add 2 more color variations for them.
The DAF XF cab and other parts are next on the 'to-do' list.
The update release really depends on that at this stage.
