Description
This hamlet, buried in sporadic clusters of forest deep within rural Eastern Poland, has seen war before. These lands had boldly resisted the Soviet invasion of late 1939, but to no avail. Now time has passed; it is the summer of 1941 -and Operation Barbarossa means war is knocking at their door once again.... A combination of bare open fields and key positions will see victory goes to the side who best utilize the old town buildings, newly-built trenches and abandoned objects scattered around the map.

I also found the rainy stormy atmosphere a plus. Makes the battles feel more intense. Great map. Please make more :)

Soon as I started a 2v2 AI battle on this map, I knew I'd dig it. Love the map description which sets it in Poland. I'm a big fan of the rainy, stormy atmosphere, too; I feel Relic hasn't really used these effects in multiplayer maps to their fullest! Great job on creating the atmosphere.

The map itself is a little too large for 1v1, I find, but it's a pretty good 2v2 size. I like how the VP at the bottom, where you have to fight through a village with a graveyard at its centre, juxtaposes nicely with the abandoned trenches from '39 at the top VP. There's lots of room all over for armour movement and flanking, and overall, I really like it. There are some cover issues in the graveyard, though, with there being green cover even where there are no tomebstones. Other than that, though, I didn't find any issues.

Overall, I'd give it an 8/10.

Thank you SabreBadger for the fine map description. To all, there is an issue with the trench bunker regarding LOS for garrisoned units and building entry points. I will be finding an alternative solution to this building, and possibly reworking this area with a different building or some other solution... Still exploring possibilities.

Other changes include a more detailed minimap image (see top right) and modified trenches.
The trenches have been damaged in some areas to allow for infantry to enter the trenches without vaulting. This will improve non-micro'd unit pathing and give players more options for entering the area ans well as making the trenches look more battle worn and realistic. Curves have been removed from trenches to make them look more realistic. Angular joints are now used.

I will update screenshots and loading screen image shortly.

Thanks everyone for the great feedback
