Description
PSA : Until devs annonce a change in the market, you can safely ignore the yellow warning of outdated mod. It's just a reminder that the game version number has changed which could impact your mod. On the market side, nothing has changed since several years by now and I don't except any change without beeing annonced by devs.

Tired of seeing the market at the same price? Of people abusing of it by selling all of their industrial ressources to buy minerals and food while they can go full tech?
Say no more here is the market without normalisation of prices, where everything you buy has a cost and where selling too much of a ressources just make the price crash without any hope of resurgence.

Main changes :

Market take 2000 years from max (or min) price to normal price (from 5 years) so no normalization outside sells and buys.
Max price at +950% (from +400%), min price -95% (from -80%).

180 000 (from 90 000) standart units of ressources (like minerals) need to be bought (or sold) to go from normal price to max (or min). ~10 times less for Internal market (19000 in my tests).

Compatibility : This mod only change the "NEconomics" tab of the define file.

AI : Works well in my test, they sell plenty but from time to time the market can reverse. Alloys stays expensive as everyone needs it to builds structures and ships (especially when big wars occurs)

Doesnt seem to be compatible with galactic paragons.

Im paying the same prices for all lots of sizes

Ill say that my experience was that Alloys were always extremely expensive, and the price for everything was always quite depressed. I like the idea of this, but not sure the tweaking is right, or perhaps the AI just dont use the market enough for it to be a good market.

In a short explaination : in the NEconomices part of the define file, you can see the normalization fonction (1/X+C format) and then with some basic function analysis (to link contants A,B & C and variables X and Y), some guess (X and Y uses) and game feedbacks (for max price cap or quantity of ressources), you know what you need to change and how to get the behaviour you want.

Hey man, could you tell me how this mod works?
Vilcoyote  [author] 23 Nov, 2021 @ 10:30am
a last update for the final version of the 3.2 will come when this update will be out. The mod is still perfectly working as nothing changed for the edited part. So don't worry if the launcher says that the mod it's not compatible, it's just a version warning.
