Smooth RPS Limiter (Modular Engines and Prefabs)

Omschrijving
If you are unhappy with the 0.5 method consisting in cutting the throttle in half if the RPS are above the set limit, try out this Microcontroller! (No PID inside!)
With this smooth approach you can get a more continuous engine throttle resulting in less fuel consumption and heat generation as well as less unpleasant engine noise.

You can enable variable RPS limit to change that limit in-game while on the move.
A hardness factor is determined by your set RPS limit to keep the resulting RPS from overshooting more than 1. You can manually increase that factor if you want to be closer to the RPS limit.

This controller works on no load engines too but is meant for engines under load like vehicle engines.

Throttle is throttle, you need to add fuel manifold throttle which without supercharge can just be half of the air throttle.

Does it work with modular engines?

you should add idle rps

No it doesn't, just an RPS limiter like the name says, not an ECU. To idle engine you could just switchbox to a PID with P of 0.3.

that mcu dosent have any kind of idling controll last time i tested
you will need to figure that out

btw if you connect an actual throttle to the controller, then the engine just goes to 1 rps and dies. If you connect to W/S, it revs the engine to the max until it explodes. (it also implodes your ear drums)

I have the same problem as the guy below, could you show us how to actually connect it? (to help idiots like myself)

Other than its set up with W/S but I'd imagine it should still work set up like that still.
