Abstract: What if we combine all the common sport courts into one?

It's actually a collection of 16 different combos of sport courts, among which there're 2 color options and 8 marking layouts. And guess what? It's a special kind of sport court having the line markings for 2 or more sport games. So with just the area of one standard court, it already has the flexibility to host a basketball, badminton, volleyball or tennis game. In most cases, the basketball court will serve as the main base court.




Well, because theoretically it's the most versatile and land-efficient court system. In city like Hong Kong, you don't really have much space for putting more sport facilities. Even if you're able to do so, it's still far from enough. You know, people nowadays are very picky, and they want a variety of entertainment options. So you also have to entertain those who want to play tennis or volleyball. The solution here is to combine everything into a fusion to make sure no one will ever complain.

It's not that difficult... Trust me, if you ever got a chance to play in one of these courts in real-life, you won't even find it a problem! That's because most of the available multi-game courts are just a combo of 2 - 3 courts. You rarely see 4 - 5 courts combo, and they only exist in in-door sport halls with colored line markings. Outdoor courts uses white markings, however.

All the pack items have a footprint of 5 x 3, which is about 40m x 24m (8m in 1 unit) in real-life, and is very close to Sport England's current guidance on the standard size of a 4-court sport court, which is about 34.5m x 20m. So the courts are gonna fit well in your 1:1 city.

The accuracy you see here is a result after hours of research. I hand-draw all the lines with reference to a lot of technical drawings and real-life images. All the combo intersection points and overlapping areas are checked and verified.

I'm trying my best here to replicate the texture of a smooth hardcourt surface. I'm as well trying to give the floor a shinny reflection under sunlight so that it gives a pretty nice look from above.

What!? Yes! You don't even need a mod to place it anywhere you want! That gives you a lot more freedom!



The following values are bench-marked by the Mesh Info Mod. They're good indicators for you to evaluate the performance of these assets in-game.

The courts are parks and can be found under the "Park & Plazas" -> "Other Parks" Tab in-game. Below are the values that may impact your game-play.




The letters before the hyphen tells you about the combo, and it follows this priority: Basketball > Volleyball > Badminton > Tennis > Netball. The letters after the hyphen tells you about the color: A for Red, B for Blue.




This's my forth asset. I'm still a beginner in asset creation, so you should expect this asset to be something experimental. But, I'm very open to feedback and is available for free talk. Feel free to comment below and I'll try my best to reply to each of you.
