RuneScape Metals

Description
Adds rare metals from the popular MMO RuneScape. Mithril, adamantite and runite are intended as upgrades to steel, uranium and plasteel respectively. Runite is best for slash weapons and adamantite is best for crush weapons.

Obtainable via mining, deep drilling, meteorites, or rarely from traders.

If you encounter any mod incompatibilities or feel that the balance needs tweaking please leave a comment.

Ah alright then. Because I was on my way to making a bunch of addy swords and found out that the heap of mithril I have laying around was actually way better for them. Cheers then.

@IceMaverick yes, it's not accurate to RS but it is a direct upgrade to vanilla rimworld metals. Adamant is best for crush weapons.

Quick question, is it intended that Mithril provides a higher Sharp Damage multiplier than Adamant? Mith is 140% while Addy is 110%.

Finally a new metals mod without all the bloat

Ayy finally a nice simple new ores mod. I like stuff like this that just adds a new material to play with that has unique or specialized stats, thank you.

If you'd like a small selection of textures I created for an old (now abandoned) RuneScape mod that fit in the vanilla style, I'd be willing to donate them. So long as you give credit, you're free to use whatever you'd like - https://imgur.com/a/hzErdub . Also, if the idea intrigues you, I'd be interested in working with you on making an expanded collection of RuneScape mods for the game. Just add me if you're down!

I have something like 700 mods installed and from what I've seen most bloat comes from having tons of materials that are low quality around steel that produce weapons or armor that are basically just wood with +5-20 dmg or so. Theres also some bloat at the other end of the spectrum where armor or weapons do like 200 dmg and skyrocket to like $20-60,000 in price. There doesnt seem to be very many materials in between they say do 70dmg and cost $2-4k a piece. So you end up with a weird balance of either 10 raiders with shotties or 45 mechs with multi-launchers
