Adds the White-Barred Boxfish to your game! The White-Barred Boxfish (Anoplocapros lenticularis) is a member of the family Aracanidae, a group closely realated to but a bit more primitive than the true boxfish. It dwells in deep water off the southern end of Australia and feeds on invertebrates. The White-Barred Boxfish displays sexual dimorphism, meaning the males and females have visible differences, with the females having black markings the males lack. It is toxic and has a hard bony carapace, making it an unpalatable meal for a predator, and as such it can swim in open water with little fear. Even then, it can put on surprising bursts of speed in the case a predator is hungry enough or daring enough to make the boxfish a snack.
