The CX-5 is a crossover SUV type passenger car manufactured and sold by Mazda.

From the first model released as the first of Mazda's new generation product group, the first full model change was carried out in less than five years.

The exterior has a trapezoidal shape with the front and rear treads expanded by about 10 mm from the first generation, and the design has been designed to enhance the three-dimensional appearance of the signature wing and allow the tip to pass under the headlamp.

The front grille has a pattern that combines three-dimensional shapes, and the brand symbol (CI emblem) protrudes from the grille surface.


The body size is + 5mm in total length, -15mm in total height, and the total width and wheelbase are unchanged, maintaining the same size as the predecessor.




In the interior, operating equipment and instruments are arranged symmetrically around the driver.

The instrument panel is decorated from the center of the steering wheel, the heights of the left and right air-conditioning louvers are aligned, and the door trim is also decorated in a horizontal tone.

The texture has been improved by adopting a newly developed decorative film for the decoration panel.

The front seat uses a suspension mat that can disperse body pressure on the seat back, and the rigidity is optimized for each seat back location.

The rear seat has a reclining mechanism that allows the seat back to be tilted while increasing the tilt angle of the seat twice from the previous model.
