Description
Dynamic Recon Ops adapted to work for S.O.G. Prairie Fire factions. 2035 assets have mostly been replaced for better immersion along with new object compositions geared towards Vietnam. Tons of minor bug fixes and improvements, including fixes for dedicated servers.

This edit is based on the latest DRO missions by mbrdmn (4 Oct, 2019) and it includes the new Combined Arms game mode.

Dynamic Recon Ops is a randomised, replayable scenario that generates an enemy occupied AO with a selection of tasks to complete within. Select your AO location, the factions you want to use and any supports available or leave them all randomised and see what mission you are sent on.

Designed to be simple to use but with plenty of options to customise your mission setup, the objective behind DRO is to create a way to quickly get playing a new scenario in singleplayer or co-op. With as few changes to the base game as possible, DRO aims to showcase the unique and varied gameplay that Arma 3 has to offer for smaller scale infantry combat.

Additionally, DRO has been designed from the ground up to take advantage of faction mods. If you have any mods that create new factions they will be selectable as player or enemy sides within the mission. However, the scenario itself requires no mods apart from specific terrains if you want to use them.

hey your mission is broken , theres too many tasks in the menu where you pick what tasks you want, and two of those that cant be seen are disarm mines and protect civilian , 90 procent of the tasks i get no matter what i pick is disarm mines , i dont want to disarm mines , wtf

ok the way to get the SOG AI mod working with this: disable the vanilla AI in the player slot load screen, then in game, use the mousewheel to choose SOG AI option "choose group to spawn"

seems to clash with "SOG AI" mod......lose AI unit control....
which is a shame, as that has automatic splitting team into red and green and bounding.....

i keep getting an error "Script Units\loadouts\O_Soldier_F.sqf not found" then the mission gets stuck on "Generating Area of Operation" when selecting MACV as the player faction. Works fine with the other ones although i haven't tried it them all

@[ZCM]Grim1316 the ground FOB spawn should be fixed, and i'll keep looking out for the bug causing the sea transport to be misplaced

@CPT FUNKYPANTS i added more backpacks to the support config. i realized that the SOG backpacks that inherit from RTO backpacks were not included by default in the config, so hopefully now more backpacks work. if you find a backpack with a radio that doesn't work, leave a comment

@Kid Irie the whitelisted arsenal is an option in the startup parameters in multiplayer

@Zozo - i added some code to try to make sure the sound gets turned back on once you spawn in

@GoodFellow i created a new FOB that the AI hopefully won't get stuck in

@sabersnack, Awesome, I would love to see it, our group really loves this. Especially with adding earplugs in, the best feature hands down! The only other thing we really have been seeing outside of it picking where we start despite marking it in team planning, is every once in a while it places the sea transport in the middle of the forest or something. This especially seems to be the case when the AO is closer to the Mekong Delta/Saigon area
