TBM-613 Automatic Tunnel Boring Machine - No mods

Description
Hello engineers !

The TBM is made up of 3 parts:

- Head (Drill)
- Body (Assemblers and building unit)
- Tail (Control Room)

It's fully automatic. It digs, builds, and move autonomously. You just have to select your
program, and press start. It move one part at the time, following a 3-positions cycle so as to
always keep 2 attachment points.
You can choose to move 3 Blocks (1 cycle), or Continuous (non-stop). It works essentially
with sensors, each movement is triggered only if the previous movement is finished.
In survive, the TBM is self-sufficient. It can dig and build indefinitely as long as the drill is
harvesting enough stone. Components and Ingots for 6 sections are provided. The head speed will be reduced to 4 cm/s if BUILD is selected or the Drilling is active.

DO NOT CHANGE ANY PISTON/ROTOR SETTINGS !

The TBM work great in survival, but must be paste in creative beforehand. You will need to
activate experimental mode and in-game scripts. Thrusters are on by default, you can paste
it wherever you want. You can also paste it directly on the tunnel anchor (see tutorial).
The airlocks work well, as long as you do not fill the tanks fully. O2 generators are off by default. Disable Airlocks in a breathable atmosphere.
User Manual is available in the TBM control room. Read it before use.

IMPORTANT !
Inertia tensor sharing is active by default on main pistons. This improves the stability of
the ship in flight. USE ONLY Red button in TBM cryo room to disable it.
YOU NEED TO DISABLE IT once docked on the tunnel anchor to allow TBM movement.

---- READ ONLY IF YOU WANT TO MODIFY TUNNEL DESIGN ----

Here is the links of tunnel parts blueprints if you want to modify tunnel design :

There is 5 projectors :
- Projector T1 (track with light a)
- Projector T2 (track with light b)
- Projector T3 (track without light)
- Projector TSD (track with ship dock)
- Projector SF (sides and floor)
Turn on projectors to see alignment, and replace blueprint if needed.
turn off projectors when done.
There is 3 variants for the Track. I created them to limit the amount of lights in the tunnel.
It builds a light 1 cycle out of 2. (no light, blue light,no light, yellow light, etc...)
At each cycle, the Track blueprint changes following this sequence: T1-T3-T2-T3 etc..
Blue lights are in group "eclairage tunnel a".
Yellow lights are in group "eclairage tunnel b".

I know this is an older build so I may not get any help with this but I want to try. The piston and welder that do the walls is not working. It extends out all the way but the welder doesn't come on and the piston doesn't move in and out like the one on the right. Like I said I know this is an old build but I am really liking this one and can't any others on the workshop that work. Hoping maybe this is an easy fix.

That's a weird malfunction, but if the head moves to fast when drilling, it breaks the drill normally.
Unless your tunnel is already dug and you only want to build without drilling?
Also if it works well with 3 blocks it should work continuously. these are the same timer blocks used, but the cycle restarts automatically in continuous mode.

I have a strange bug where when set to Forward-Continuous-Build-Floor-Walls, the head section is moving forward at the speed it would be when build is not selected. As a result, only the top portion of the side walls is getting built.
It works as intended when on 3 Block mode.

Worth noting that it worked fine for me the other week when I dug a different tunnel.
I haven't changed any of the block settings either.

I haven't used this machine for a long time.
I had same issue with other builds, but never with this one !
Probably due to a game update.
This is the problem with this kind of construction, new bugs can appears with game updates.

Yes, it still works - But I ran into the problem with the merge blocks staying as a station even when unmerged, so I had to use the "No Unsupported Stations" mod: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1647920343
(The problem isn't unique to this build, it seems to be a bug with Space Engineers.)

Does this still work?

Hello, It's probably the drilling bug (see user's manual, page 8)
Quit the game (to windows) and restart should solve the problem.
I hope it works for you !

Major Problem.
AutoSafe Keeps Drill from breaking its self,
But Drills aren't mining correctly and keeps Aborting

I absolutely love this Machine!!

Had a rough time finding space to place Additional blocks >D

But Would love to get it working optimally though

/me Gawks.... <-- Just... . . .. .. ...

Followed the instructions in the video but I am finding the second time I do the three steps building only the top portion, the drills fly off violently 30 seconds or so into the process.
