A Seriously Stupid Planet Badass Remaster

Description
SECOND PART REQUIRED:
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2822045494

It IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO DISABLE THESE MODS BEFORE PLAYING:
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2526676573
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2618664378
https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2658200949

PLEASE NOTE:
This mod uses a few replacement files as well as files from SSHD TFE, HD TSE, SS3 and Fusion. Check and disable your workshop packages if you encounter unusual issues while loading the levels or during gameplay. Also note that performance related problems may plausibly be attributed to vanilla maps being modified, which seems to affect several mods that only do so much as to change gameplay, for example SS4 reworked. This mod is no exception.

Enemy and weapon replacement mods may also cause issues with loading levels. It is recommended you disable those as well.

What to expect:
  • 2 Fully Remastered levels - Countryside (Breakfast in France: a morning and midday version) and Citadel (In Carcassonne)

  • Rebalanced Gameplay - no skills available at all, a new headshots system, weapon, ammo, gadgets balancing and enemy AI alterations.

  • Improved Level Design, Visuals and World-Building - improved various lighting effects, post processing effects, added new areas to explore, everything that would make the world feel more dynamic and alive.

  • Fully Remastered Enemies - new shaders to make them stand out more in the environment, new effects, various sound changes, explosively juicy gore and gibs, AI adjustments and rebalancing as well as new Hard+ attacks.

  • Fully Remastered Weapons And Gadgets - new shaders to add extra shine and details, better muzzle flashes and other effects, revised first person positioning, various sound changes and a new melee weapon.

  • New Secrets - no more extremely irritating pixel perfect parkour secrets that mainly give you personal medkits and random gadgets. Secrets are now more balanced and more fun to discover in numerous peculiar ways. There are also a few silly ones for which the first game was known for.

Have fun!
If you have any problems, leave a comment and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Hey Sacor! I'm also here asking permission to use some of your stuff lmao. So firstly there is a (unused?) script in ASSPBR changes some headshot mechanics. I've taken it, saved it, and modified it to simply just disabling crits for projectile damage, among some other small changes. May I upload the mod using this script publicly on the workshop? : )

Secondly, could I use your Tentacle enemy stuff for inclusion in my Reworked levels please? I'll be re-saving the files into my own mod files and using it that way.

similar file pathing which the creator of Zorg resource must have established before I worked on the Carcassonne update, so my file pathing must have caused a conflict

Somehow, as I test things, it looks like the Zorg Resource is the only one causing crashes when starting up the Carcassonne (Citadel) level. Your Modified Enemies Pack (both Replacement and Resource) don't. Though, not sure what are the oddities with those 2 variants of the enemy packs?

Thanks a lot man! - I ended up not using them actually lol, unfortunately I couldn't resave properly the sound and texture files for the models, or at least the editor fails to load them and read their file type or something.. anyway I came up with a work around, thanks anyway!

Hi Danny/Sacor! I was wondering if I can use some of ASSPBR 'lights' models (torch, table lamp, candels, lamp post) to use it in other projects; Namely the 'Quality of L.I.F.E.' mod, extending the brighten up interiors to the oil rig as well. Thanks in advance!

thx a lot for this great mod, smartschanges to the ennemies you made there, more consistent with what is to be expected from old SS fans
