1930s workers' apartments

Description
Simple apartment building for the early phases of Socialist construction. Although still of average quality (60pc), this cheap building can be ideal to move your workers out of their tents or wooden barracks as your city starts to take shape.

Modeled after a series of buildings built in Rybinsk, North of Moscow, in the years 1933-1937.

Houses 165 adults. Has self-heating ability. Comes with one LOD allowing a five-fold decrease in tris.
A version half the length is available.

A variety of skins is available as a skin mod.

@76561198059729641 You don't see these mods because they have heating disabled, which the game takes to mean they are very old houses only available before the normal game start (1960 on). The game wants all residential buildings you construct to require heating during winter, otherwise it is regarded as a "cheat".

Ιs it really so hard to accommodate your game with what is available? :steamsad:

I accept your point of view, but please add another two-way version:steamhappy:

Yes, I'm pretty much aware of that, I've been "studying" soviet architecture for the passed 1-2 years.
I even made the mod with the help of repeating sections, which is why it was pretty straightforward to reduce it. But in absence of photos or blueprints of the building I try to mod, I usually don't like taking liberties.
this building from the 30s however was not built with panels but with bricks, and although the district I found it in has a few copies of it and it clearly has a repeatable motif, they're all of the same length. In absence of access to its original blueprints I can't know if this standard design had length variations. A book I have on Soviet avant-garde/constructivist architecture shows many examples of such worker apartments built in late 20s and early 30s, it's clear that almost always they're based on one local standard design and repeated in the microdistrict, but I haven't seen variations of the same design.
