Boeing 307 Stratoliner

Description
In real life this plane was adapted from the B-17 Flying Fortress... My B-17, however, was adapted from this and you can find it here!

A mostly scale recreation of the Boeing 307, which first flew in 1938 and was the first commercial aircraft to have a pressurised cockpit, allowing it to fly higher than other aircraft at the time. It seats 33 people and has 4 supercharged radial propeller engines.

This was my first time trying to recreate a vehicle from real life so don't expect anything crazy. The outside is fairly accurate and it has a similar top speed, but the cockpit is not accurate (lack of space and I couldn't be bothered to make it that complicated).

Pretty easy to fly thanks to Ze airplane flight controller by uran_wind.

Also uses Ze modular engine controller

The cockpit is pretty intuitive, just make sure to turn on the avionics and the breaker before you do anything.

--- INSTRUCTIONS ---

1. Turn on the main breaker in front of the throttle lever

2. Turn on the avionics switch on the main panel

3. Turn on the wheel brakes with the 1 key

4. Turn on the engines with their switches on the main panel

5. One the engines are idling at 4RPS and you are ready to take off, release the wheel brakes

6. Throttle up the engines and you can take off ( taxi speed is around 5-10%, runway take off is around 50%, and you can take off quickly at 100%).

7. Raise the landing gear once you are in the air

--- EXTRA INFO ---

When cruising set the throttle to 75%, any higher and the engine temperatures can go too high and cause the overheat protection to automatically decrease their RPS

It's got good range and efficiency (6500L in each wing).

It is capable of flying on two engines at cruise throttle or even one of the inner engines at full throttle (not for extended periods of time due to overheat risk), although you probably won't need to do that it's some additional info

For some reason it doesn't work with infinite fuel turned on. I'm not sure why exactly, maybe something with the air/fuel ratio calculation gets upset or something. But it has a pretty good range so really you won't be needing it anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Enjoy and yell at me in the comments if I missed anything >.>

Well I just found your problem. For some reason turning on infinite fuel is breaking it. Maybe the game thinks it should be filled with some other fluid but basically infinite fuel is breaking it. Honestly I have no idea if this is some sort of bug or if something went wacky while I was building it but that's that. Turn off infinite fuel and you should be good to go :slimetabby:

Nope, Just does the same thing. I have infinite fuel and electric on. I don't know what to do

if they're not starting you probably have auto refuel turned off. Add fuel to it. Other wise read the instructions again because I just tested it and it's working perfectly

Doesn't even work, I turn it on and throttle up but then the engines die down and go slow How to fix?

Hey Motorhorn can you make a Detailed B-17 since the 307 is based on the B-17?
