Ratha-S Class Dropship

A variant of the Ratha class dropship, intended to be a spawn ship (if I could only figure out *how* to make custom spawn ships spawn...). Limited ice, virtually no uranium, but outfitted with a survival kit and an ore detector in a pressurized rear cabin. Seats for two in the rear, and one in the cockpit.

Barcella Alpha Shipyards saw the need to create a low cost, but reliable, small craft intended to safely transport a handful of personnel to and from a planet's surface. Not intended for combat, she is unarmed and built of light armor. A support craft, she can shuttle from orbiting vessels to ground based zones of operation. An on board survival kit in her oxygenated passenger cabin allows her to function as spawn craft. In case of a complete engine failure, she has a parachute which will safely deposit her to the surface.

Able to safely fly up to 2500 meters on atmospheric thrusters alone in an Earthlike environment, and can even gain altitude to around 300 meters in 1.20 G, thin atmosphere environments. By toggling on the large thrusters, the Ratha gains a ludicrous amount of lifting power for a vessel her size. As such, in addition to transportation jobs, she can also be pressed into service as a sort of sky crane. This extends her field of utility beyond that of just executive or S.T.S. transport duties.
