Are you sick and tired of your Bishop/Priest? Is he making life harder for you by not paying taxes and providing you with levies? Does he keep harassing you that your marriage is not legitimate? Is you Bishop/Priest a known criminal? And you still have a 0% chance to Imprison him? Even when you have the rightful claim to imprison him?
You keep sending your soldiers to imprison your Bishop but he always avoids capture like he's some kind of a ninja because of the 0% chance. And since your Bishop doesn't become a wanderer but still stays at your court and keeps mocking and making fun of you, the King. Now what kind of a King would you be, if you cant even imprison someone in your kingdom? This mod fixes that.

This mod focuses and fixes some of the issue with the Imprison feature of the game when it comes to your Courtiers. No longer will you have a 0% chance to imprison someone, especially when it comes to your Bishop/Priest. You are the King and you should have the power to imprison anyone of your Courtiers!

Please note, this is not a cheat mod so, don't expect a 100% chance to imprison anyone. Not rightfully imprisoning someone will still result in Tyranny.

What this mod fixes and does:

- Fixes the intrigue value when it comes to imprisoning someone. Before, this value was (You) 1:2 (Your Courtiers) but now its fixed to a ratio of 1:1. Meaning, if your character has a 15 intrigue skill, a +15 points would add to the overall imprisoning value. Similarly, if one of you Bishop/Priest/Courtier you're trying to imprison also has a 15 intrigue skill, a -30 points will add to his imprison defense. This made no sense to me and has been fixed now.

- Added a +20 points to imprison someone if they refuse which acts as Treason. Before, this option would only work on your vassals when you enact the High Crown Authority. Now, this also works on your Courtiers even without passing the High Crown Authority Law. You still need to pass the High Crown Authority law if you want to have a +20 points buff on your vassals.

- Max opinion imprison defense has been capped to 10 points.

- Slightly tweaked the AI behavior logic to imprisoning someone. For example, a character with an Honorable personality will resist less if you want to imprison him as he will obey his king. Similarly, a deceitful or fickle character will resist the imprisonment order more.

This is quite a balanced mod but still your feedback is appreciated.

This mod works mid campaign but a new playthrough is always preferred.

This mod should be compatible with other mods. This mod is not compatible with mods that modifies the vanilla interaction script rules.

If you enjoyed the mod, like and give it a thumbs up.

I tried to imprison my wife and it failed but she didn't leave my court, she just got an opinion penalty of me and I could immediately retry. I retried, failed again, did not get an additional stacking modifier. Tried a third time and succeeded.
Could it be tied to this mod that she didn't leave? I've never experienced that in vanilla.

@Hamletsdead, thats probably a mod conflict due to both the mods are using the same files.

@Gladiator, is there any way to make this work with Better Executions? Logically, they shouldn't conflict, since his mod only deals with adding another 20 types of executions and has nothing to do with imprisonment probabilty, but somehow your mod overrides it regardless of load order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not working for me in 1.6 but I'm running over 40 mods (that are all compatible with one another mind). Haven't tested it on its own.

+1 Would like to now if this mod is safe to use in 1.6.x
