[WOTC] Fix Impact FX

Description
Fixes various issues with [WOTC] Impact FX and [WOTC] Impact FX Lite Version:
  • Reduced game startup time impact.
  • Reduced RAM usage impact.
  • Weapons will be affected by Impact FX more consistently.
  • Impact FX Lite Versiion will work. Without this Fix mod it does not work at all.

KNOWN ISSUES

While Highlander v1.22+ fixes the issue with Idle Suppression causing cumulative performance degradation, using Idle Suppression and Impact FX together (even with this Fix mod) will still cause your framerate to gradually drop over time. There are no plans to address this problem, so I simply recommend you don't use Idle Suppression and Impact FX together.

REQUIREMENTS

X2 WOTC Community Highlander is required.
Either [WOTC] Impact FX or [WOTC] Impact FX Lite Version is required. The mod will not do anything without them.

CREDITS AND DONATIONS

Credit to Vortex ♀ Pixalation for developing Impact FX and Impact FX Lite Version, and granting permission to publish this fix.

Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.

Firing projectiles was the cause, it was a base game bug.

I had used this with "Idle Suppression" and "[WOTC] Impact FX Lite Version" and after about 10 min, the frames would drop substantially. Removing this mod solved the issue.

I saw that the most recent Highlander fixed a memory leak. Not sure if that was the cause.

Steam should be the one sorry, because I think it had a Hiccup like it did occasional in the past.

I remembered a few months ago you scolded someone for not reading the description, which is 3 to 5 times longer than this one. So I double checked before I posted my first comment.

Thanks again for your time and help.

Added this mod to a game in progress, and the game started crashing frequently. It become more stable so far since I removed it.

In hindsight, I should not have installed it, because I'm not using the mods that it fixes.

In any case, good to see people fixing mods.

Have fun!

Sorry, but it most definitely was there, you must have missed it somehow

The description for the Requirements were not there when I first posted my comment and replied to Dragon32.

So I checked twice in case I missed anything.

Is it that much effort for you to read the mod description?
