Kaboom

Description
Kaboom is a simple addon that makes explosives apply forces on objects around them. That's it. It has some simple configuration (you can make the explosive force really strong if you want some silliness, or make it weaker if you want it toned down, for example), and can be run server-side only. I made this addon because I saw a dev video by the VCom AI guy, Genesis, where he played around with setForce now that it works on units as well as other objects, and decided that this addon needed to exist. It's really immersion breaking to fire a 120mm high explosive round and not have infantry go flying. This fixes that. I have not done extensive performance testing but it appears to be performant to my limited testing. As this is still a very early release, I don't have any keys (because I'd rather get my work out there first), but this is alleviated IMO by the fact that the addon can be run as a serverMod.

Configure it by opening the addon options in the editor or modifying the cba_settings.sqf on your server.

I haven't been working on this in quite some time, I'll have to go back and fix that. I have a good idea of what causes that, I'll try to make some time to fix it this week.

@Ghost, I have the same problem. In fact, I use claymores a lot, and if I am within kill range (50m-ish) I get ragdolled and disabled no matter if I am in the kill zone or behind cover. I dont get killed or injured, but when I manually command a medic to heal me, he cant becasue I'm not registering any injury. You basically stay in a state of "laying on ground ragdolled and cant fire".

Super bummed about this because I use mines and satchels a lot too and the effect of this mod is super cool- shoulda been in vanilla in fact. I hope it gets fixed/updated.

kinda wish there was an option to disable this for grenades, in CQC room clearing the players always complained about being knocked over by the explosions and they'd keep getting stunned on the ground, other than that, great mod!

Love the mod except when for one problem I had. When a explosive goes off that a unit can survive, the AI and player get knocked down. My problem is that the AI gets back up but my guy doesn't. I'm not playing with ACE so I know that isn't an issue. I think I saw in the comments that someone else had this issue and I have no clue how to fix it. Otherwise it's a great mod that really adds to the experience.
