Simple No Spoiler Endings Guide
By frog with raspberry on head
Hello!
Getting all endings seems kind of like an odd, difficult and unclear endeavor for new players.
Nier Replicant has a rich ending system (just like all Drakengard games) that allows you to obtain more context and ending cutscenes depending on how many times you beat it. This adds incredible depth to the already fantastic story and it is highly recommended you take the time to do them all.

The only prerequisite needed to attempt this is accquiring all weapons from Act 1 (Young Nier) before continuing onward because you cannot freely repeat Act 1 after transitioning to Act 2. You will be doing Act 2 multiple times for multiple endings so Act 2 is much less stressful for collecting weapons as you can draw it out over multiple playthrough paths.

This honestly isn't hard as you will obtain most weapons from simply doing story quests, however you will need to buy out each weapon from every area's shop and pick up two or three more from dungeons.

If you are reading this guide in advance, please take the time to get every weapon in Act 1 before continuing.

Edit: I have heard from many players that you can no longer miss Act 1 items and can buy all missing ones from the shopkeep in the Aerie in Act 2. I have not been able to verify this on my own so I ask that you be weary of it.

Ending A

This is the easiest: Simply beat the game.
When presented with a prompt Type in your character's name.
Credits will roll and you will get the A-path achievement.

From this moment onward, every time you start a new ending path, it will start you in Act 2 of the game.

Ending B

Once you beat the A path, load up your game again and beat it once more.
This file will have an A logo on the save screen for you to differentiate with any other save.
Since this starts you in Act 2, it will be much quicker to run through.

This new path provides you with a lot of much needed context that was missing from cutscenes in your first playthrough.
Beat the game and check after the credits for an additional cutscene and the achievement for obtaining Ending B.

Ending C

This is where it gets a bit complicated. Reload your save file after clearing ending B (it will have an A and a B on the save icon).
This time, as the game prompts you, you will need to collect all 33 weapons in order to unlock this new ending.
If you did not obtain weapons from Act 1, there are many that can still be bought in Act 2 (such as Faith), but if I recall correctly, not all.

This path provides a bit more context and new scenes but only to some cutscenes.

-Create two saves before reaching the final boss. After defeating the final boss and fighting an extra boss, choose to kill when the prompt appears.

This will show you a new ending and give you the C ending achievement.

Ending D

Reload your second save from before the final boss. Go through the motions and when presented with the same choice prompt from Ending C, choose to spare them.
This will provide you with a different ending, provide you with the D ending achievement and will delete ALL your saves. This is why it is important to create two saves to get Ending C without having to replay again.

-This next part is spoilered as it refers to what is spoilered directly before it. It does not reveal any information on what happens, but does reveal how to get the ending to be triggered, which in of itself isn't really a spoiler. Now that you are sufficiently briefed, read on.

Ending E
When your save files are deleted, your login screen will show up with a different banner: This means you can now "activate" the new ending. Create a new game file with a completely new name from the one used in your main playthrough. Play through the game until you get to the point where you fight the giant Shade named Hook in the Aerie for the second time, where Kainé would normally join your party. This is where things will play out differently and you will get a new ending.

I can confirm that it is possible to obtain Act 1 weapons in Act 2. When I found this guide when I began playing Ending B, I realized that I hadn't acquired all the weapons from Act 1.

There is a weapons dealer in Aerie right at the beginning of Act 2, which i think sells the weapons from Act 1. It also requires some side quests.

This guide helped me locate the my missing weapons:

Once you get the E ending and load the clear data, the game keeps looping the E route until you make a new save?

Thank you @roycehellion. I wanted to add this comment to the guide but it seems that it just crashes whenever I save it...

All weapons from act 1 are obtainable in act 2. There are no missable ones. Just throwing that out there.

@cookie_duck
I believe if you needed some weapons from there, you will need to start another ending path. so you might need to re-do the ending c path again. Unsure though

Umm... so I think I messed up. I'm currently trying to get all the weapons to unlock ending C and I happened to find your guide. You see the problem is I already got the Sacrifice fragment from the Aerie which in turn means the entire town got destroyed along with the weapon shop ... Is it still possible to get the remaining weapons or do I have to start over?

great guide, by the way. If it weren't for this I probably would've just thought the d ending was the last ending you could get and stopped playing then and there.

For the record, I think the only Act I weapons you can't buy are the ones that you get along the story path.Or, at least, that was my experience getting all the endings. I think all the rest of the one-handed weapons come from quests during Act II. The only one I'm kinda iffy on the placement of is the one you get from killing the big shade on the bridge, so you might want to watch for that quest during the little bro nier part.
