[TF2] Cosmetics With More Colours - Scout Pack

When creating a character with the TF2 Mercs using any colour you want, you've been limited by the colours of existing cosmetics. You've either had to use specific cosmetics that tend to be just vests and hats, use materials to get the colour in exchange for any depth or texture, or just give up and stick to BLU or RED. Do ya' wish it ain't so? Well, that's where the Cosmetics With More Colors project comes in!

SFM VERSION HERE! It's not the best though, but that's due to SFM being SFM.

Here's the first pack in the project, featuring 9 cosmetics for the Scout! Femscout versions are also included, particularly those from the Femscout Renovation pack. You may be able to use the Sub Material Tool to put these new textures onto other versions of these cosmetics in other Femscout addons, should they work properly or even exist. an example of this would be the Custom Femscout addon, which has the Flapjack and the Delinquent's Down Vest, but doesn't have the rest - you can use the submaterial tool to put the new textures onto them and they fit the same.

This pack includes 11 new colours for each cosmetic, as well as a new version of the Head Hunter that doesn't have the zombie face. I would advise you to use a colourable version of the Scout instead of using a preexisting texture change, but that's your call. I'd recommend the Paintable Team Fortress 2 Mercenaries addon, as there's quite a lot of freedom with colouring while still keeping the texture and style of the original mercs.



Cosmetics With More Colours is a project that aims to give creators a bit more flexibility with colour choices. Obviously I can't grant you purely unlimited choice, but this should be a good option to have. The eventual aim is to have one pack for each class, adding new colours and possibly other enhancements to nine cosmetics each, Should there be fem versions of the cosmetics, this project will hopefully incorporate as many of them as possible.


These packs will mostly include cosmetics that affect the top half of the characters, such as jackets and tops. Hats may be included as well, but this will depend on the hat. As for enhancements, these will likely be very minimal should they happen at all, and as such I wouldn't expect a huge amount of difference in anything other than colour between these and the original cosmetics.

There may be possible extra packs in the future, such as an all-class pack or packs with workshop items, but this is still undecided.

I am not taking requests, but I may take suggestions for future packs. Do not get upset if what you suggested doesn't get in.
