Modular Integrated Steel Mill

Description
I made some major changes, but i left the old files intact, let me know if you know a better solution

This mod contains everything to build an integrated steel mill, buildings included:

blast furnace
workers: 200
production: 30t steel, 14t of slag (waste_gravel)
consumption: 150t coal, 160t iron, 2t fuel, 30 MWh power

by product recovery plant
workers: 50
production: 45t bitumen, 15t fuel
consumption: 85t chemical_waste, 6 MWh power

this factory consumes chemical waste, you need to attach it directly to the coking plant and attach additionally a waste container on it (dont use them as a storage in between those plants)

flachlager (sorry i dont know how this is called in english)
this is a storage building for aggregate comes in two sizes, it can hold 40k or 20k tons of aggregate

gasometer
this is a storage building for coal gas. it is not under pressure. This building will store up to 10k t of oil and i will update it to store gas then this will be possible

open warehouse
this is a storage building for open goods like steel, it can store up to 1800 t

coking plant
workers: 50
production: 300t coal, 45t chemical_waste
consumption: 500t coal ore, 6 MWh power, 200m³ Water (for the quenching tower)

this building works like the coal ore processor, i will update it to produce gas instead of oil then this becomes possible

converter plant
worker: 600 + 50 professionals
production: 100t steel, 42t slag (waste_gravel)
consumption: 300t coal, 450t iron, 18t fuel, 120 MWh power

this works like the vanilla steel mill, since there is no pig iron to convert to steel

electro steel mill
workers: 250 + 15 professionals
production: 18t steel, 8.8t slag (waste_gravel)
consumption: 75t waste_steel, 7.5t fuel, 390MWh power

sinter plant (old/modernized)
workers: 50
production: 350t iron
consumption: 450t iron ore, 40t coal, 12MWh power / 500t iron ore, 50t coal, 9MWh power

rolling mill (factory/storage)
workers: 1000
production: 100t mechanic comp.
consumption: 150t steel

this building is available as a storage building for 15000 t open goods or as the machanic comp. factory since there is no need for rolling steel in the game

https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2604942395 here are some skins for two buildings of this pack. Maybe i will add more in the future

Looks great with these two train cars

Great job. How do you "simulate" the highline unloading and storage for blast furnace ? Another issue is generally in the game if we use train to supply vanilla blast furnace, the speed for loading seems slow to fit with the blast furnace consumption. Any idea on how to deal with this issue ?

Hello, I really like your Industry mods 😊 Especially the Oil and Steel Industry packs. I’m quite happy you put coal gas as byproduct in your old version of the Steel Industries. I really like this concept as it was widely used as town gas in many coal Industry centers in Great Britain or Germany (but you probably know this already 😉).

I’d appreciate, if you just be so kind and let the old ones in the pack, if that’s possible. The new ones with fuel are okay, but I like the old ones more (As they synergize quite well with your gas heating plants 😉). Maybe you can change the oil to gas, when there will be a Gas DLC (If it happens).

Best regards!

Hi, I noticed that the new blast furnace needs fuel but the input storage is for oil. I think it is a mistake from the old version. I like that you kept the old buildings available as well since I find it more realistic that the coke plant produces oil that can be stored in gasometer a transfered by pipes rather than the hazardous waste. And great job again, I love your industry mods!
