DeI - Alternative Campaign Experience

Description
Hello All!

This submod is meant to serve as alternative campaign experience for DeI, especially for players who want to get more famillar with the mod.

Updated to DeI 1.3.3

Main difference to base mod is campaign progression based on your imperium level.
Lower levels apply some more bonuses for the player as his faction is less of a threat to others and easier to manage due to smaller size. As your faction grows, so is the challange. While it worked in similar way in base DeI, here changes rely more on upfront cost of units and buildings while less on corruption. Additionally, your growing empire will be less welcomed by newly conquered nations and will need more slaves, which will provide more income but will also casue more trouble!

AI bonuses have been also tweaked, with some areas getting small nerf, especially for smaller sized AI faction but hopefully adding a bit more challange when facing large AI factions.

Here is a summary of changes:
-overhauled imperium levels for more forgiving early game but more challenging late game
-adjusted AI bonuses to tone down some smaller factions but buff larger factions
-increased army, navy and edict cap, hopefully also making larger AI factions more of a challange
-slave management much more profitable and difficult in late game
-decreased severity of corruption, moved late game costs into prices of units and buildings
-decreased casualties from diseases
-removed casualties from laying a siege
-increased casualties from being besieged
-bonus to diplomacy with AI factions in the early game, penalties to diplomacy in late game
-increased importance of culture management in the late game

Please provide feedback and suggestions, this is still in testing.

Yes, there is official No Population submod tho we always recommend playing with population on and as its much more fun that way and a lot of mod designs are built around it (e.g. unlocking new units that might not be better stat wise but open up easier recruitment due to lower population class).

Thanks kam, I'll hold out on using Alternative Campaign Experience with those two other submods for now then or maybe just try it them all out in a new campaign to see what happens.

I think they would change some parts of it but I need to update it for 1.3.3 anyway.

@kam2150 Im using DEI Submods Unofficial Hardcore Mod and Politics Reforged. Would they be compatible with DeI - Alternative Campaign Experience?

I really like some of the changes in the DeI - Alternative Campaign Experience but I wouldn't want to give up the changes from the other two submods I use. I appreciate any advice you may be able to share on this.
