Описание
This simple mod doubles the time it takes to establish first contact by doubling the number of rolls required. This also gives you a higher chance of getting first contact events.

Additionally the mod delays the formation of the Galactic Community. Normally it forms after an empire has established contact with 70% of the empires in the galaxy. With this mod there is an additional condition that either 100 years must have passed since the start of the game or an empire needs to establish contact with 90% of the empires in the galaxy.

COMPATIBILITY
This is a gameplay altering mod and as such it will prevent you from getting achievements.

The mod does not replace any files, but it does change the value of the FIRST_CONTACT_DISCOVERY_SCORE define (increases it from 10 to 20) and will clash with any other mod that modifies the same value.

It also adds a new file that overwrites the event galcom.1 from the file .../events/galactic_community_events.txt.

Apart from that though it should be compatible with everything.

Only if you choose to not join the galactic community. Everyone who joins GalCom still gets to establish contact with each other, but the mod now also delays when GalCom is formed.

And I just noticed I forgot to update the mod description.

Is there any way to stop contact being forced, by other empires establishing the Galactic Community?

Updated the mod. It now only overwrites the GalCom formation event, as MrFunEGUY suggested.

The mod should work fine with the 3.8 patch for Stellaris. I'll still update it when I find the time.

You can individually overwrite events so that you don't have to overwrite the whole file, which is what you should do so that you dont have to update the file when PDX updates events you dont alter, and for compatibility with other mods.

It affects everyone equally, so the AI will also need more time to make first contact with you.

does this also force it to take longer for AI contacting us on their own, or does this only effect the player's effort in making first contact?
