Description
Works with 3.12, and should work all the way back to 3.0.

Exterminate!

To celebrate the release of Nemesis and the Aetherophasic Engine which *definitely* isn't just the Dalek Reality Bomb; the Dalek Advisor voice! Exterminate everything that isn't you with an advisor who understands!
Don't forget to select it in the advisor tab!



DLC Required:
You will need to own at least one of the various DLCs that add an advisor voice, as the base game does not give you the option to select one otherwise.

This is my first mod, done as a learning experience for hopefully something bigger down the line. Most voice lines should be sufficiently Dalek, and the most common ones should be fairly decent quality. There are a few in there that just don't line up with anything that a Dalek has ever said without excessive background noise, so I've done my best to fill those in, but they're not perfect.

Please let me know if there are any issues with missing sound files or any that are playing using the Vanilla advisor, preferably including what the advisor says instead!


I obviously do not own the Daleks or any of the audio content of this mod. It is taken from BBC-owned productions, belongs to them, and will be removed upon their request.

Minor update, switched it over to 3.12 (though once again it worked anyway). Also made the error log stop complaining about the frequency on a few of the files, and reduced the sizes on disk across the board. As always, let me know if a vanilla sound creeps through anywhere!

Updated to 3.11 (though it worked anyway), tweaked a few of the sounds and added several missing ones! As always, please let me know if anything isn't working as you'd expect.

Nope, sorry. All I can suggest is reverse-engineering someone else's to see how it works and then making one yourself, that was how I made this one. Though obviously make sure you reverse-engineer one that works consistently :P

Has now been updated to 3.10 and the bug where it randomly goes silent should now be fixed! Let me know if it breaks again.

Good news! I believe I've worked out what's causing it, and it's a pretty easy fix. I'll do some testing to make sure there's nothing else triggering the issue but a fix should be up soon.

No problem, thanks for checking it out anyways. Simply saving & reloading your game fixes it, takes less than 30 secs so I can cope :)

Yeah, I did a test game of my own recently and found that mine ended up dropping out after a while as well, while the person I was playing with who didn't have an advisor mod on still worked fine. I have absolutely no idea why since functionally it should just be swapping out the files played by events being triggered. I have a feeling it could be running into a sound that doesn't exist and breaking, but I'm not sure. I'll have to test to see if it happens with other Advisor mods too before looking too deeply.
