"So, I sketched my MHW's character some years ago and recently decided to finish painting it. I love Monster Hunter World with all of my heart and have been wanting to paint this for a while. Vaal Hazak's armor sets are among my favorites, so I chose it to be represented in this painting. When I sketched it nearly three years ago, my idea for this painting was to represent not only my character's appearance, but also her personality. So back then it was more of a "goth who likes cute things" themed painting, but recently I changed that theme (and the entire artwork composition) to "the beauty and light that can be found in the dark".
