To get the xbox one kinect to work I just followed this guide (I got it from the Garry's mod wiki): https://github.com/WilliamVenner/gmcl_rekinect

Some models have the option to fix the rig. while others don't. am i doing something wrong?

Oh, I didn't see your reply, but I was able to get the Xbox one Kinect to work, with some other stuff attached to this mod.

Unfortunately, I didn't make this addon and I don't know how to code one for Garry's Mod. It's sad it stopped working now. Hope the original creator makes something new to fix all the issues. Thank you for letting me know. It was good while it lasted. :)
