The Impreza is a passenger car produced and sold by SUBARU (formerly Fuji Heavy Industries).

The pressure sensor inside the bumper detects a collision with a pedestrian and instantly covers the windshield and the lower end of the A-pillar with an airbag to reduce damage to the pedestrian's head.


In addition to the SRS side airbag + SRS curtain airbag, which was an option installed by the manufacturer in some grades of the previous model, the driver's seat SRS knee airbag is used for the first time to reduce damage to the driver's lower limbs in the event of a frontal collision.

A total of seven occupant protection airbags are standard equipment, including dual SRS airbags.


The driving support system EyeSight (ver.3) has been expanded to include front-wheel drive vehicles and is standard equipment on all vehicles.

Along with newly adopting the "lane center maintenance function", the function of ACC (cruise control with all vehicle speed tracking function) has been strengthened.

In terms of design, the new design philosophy "DYNAMIC x SOLID" has been fully adopted for the first time in Subaru's mass-produced models.
