A light patrol Destroyer often sent to investigate and/or intervene in border infringements and possitioned in second-line roles in larger ingagements. During such large-scale engagements, it often acts as a capital ship screen against lighter, more nimble vessels and fighters.

As with all ships of this design type, the forward, lower section of the ship is a standalone vessel used for either atmospheric flight and/or to investigate situations that would seem too dangerous to risk the entire vessel for.

Rather obviously inspired by Gundam Zeon ships. The SAF are in direct opposition to the JSN and often come to blows during border conflicts.

Their ships are also designed with a unique feature among other nations in that the forward section of the ship can act as a indipenant vessel. This opens up several tactical possibilities; though it does come at a risk...

Note: I don't actually have them as seperate vessels. Thanks to docking, It can now be reworked to allow this. Will need to be manually seperated and then add docking ports to one or the other.
