The TSR boards might be in the wrong order, my knowledge was to have the warning with speed restriction, repeater and restriction, followed by the termination sign. I will check the correct order for any scenarios I make next time. Thanks.

(Feb - 2023). Ran OK with no problems. Aren't the TSR warnings the wrong way round?
The first one shows the TSR warning and an "R" (repeater) board and no reduced speed. The second shows the new speed (20) but no repeater.

Thanks again for this one. It ran well and the timetable was achievable (with care). Cheers, Warren.

Their recent releases haven't been so good, I wish they could concentrate on building routes for TS and leave the loco DLCs for TSW (where they actually need more content).

Run as required is a bit of a lottery in the real world but I like to keep variety in scenarios without having an overwhelming or underwhelming amount of freight (from my experience of travelling on the real route you'd typically encounter maybe 2 or 3 container freight trains on the WCML South section so that's what I program the scenario to encounter). Whereas if using a timetable maybe only 1 of the 12 freights would show up one day and something like 5 or 6 the next.

@AirbourneAlex They did the exact same thing with the Class 89, which has sounds mashed together from an 86, a 158, and some Kuju sounds I can't identify. BTS did a sound pack that uses Class 90 and 91 audio to produce a more realistic sound.

On the note of timetables; you refer to the fact that freight trains run as required, which is partly why they rarely appear in my real time scenarios.

Yes I've seen and read lots of reviews and the sound is so horribly broken, I would have purchased the route but holding back until it gets a permanent fix (I think there's a sound patch already on ATS but I'd rather wait until DTG fix it or AP improve it).

Very annoying how DTG seem to value releasing content when it's due rather than when it's ready, and all it does is reduce their revenue and their reputation :steamfacepalm:

@AirbourneAlex Apparently the route is fine, but the Class 323 has atrocious sound (let's hope AP do a sound pack).

Thank you Railfan. It's a great route, just a shame DTG released it so clearly unfinished. I feared the same would happen with Cross City and it unfortunately has (sounds are broken!).

Thanks Paul. I could use a real timetable (and have done for some of my scenarios) but that often makes scenario creation long winded and sometimes quite limited (some trains, especially freight, run as required, so often wouldn't appear) and at the moment most TOCs are running non-standard reduced timetables for the virus that aren't as interesting. Instead I try to make realistic service patterns that interact with the scenario better (e.g. trains appearing at noticeable areas like departing Birmingham or acting as blocking services for adverse signals) which in my opinion makes the scenario a bit more interesting and enjoyable than perhaps the real thing, whilst still seeming fairly accurate.

It's nice to see scenarios appearing for this route, which helps to get over WCML South's somewhat rough start in life.
