Hi!
Another unusual thing for me. This time I made a freight yard, which will let you flip cargo between smaller branchline trains and a bigger mixed trains, running between two of these freight yards. You will be able to bring in cargo from smaller lines to a bigger train, without the need to make the big train go into the branch. It adds a little bit of realism, where you didn't just have trains running point to point.

The pack includes 5 buildings. Each one is a track with a set of connections to allow for every cargo to get reloaded. You need to have trains set on either 'wait until loaded' or 'wait until unloaded' to make sure the don't run away from you before another train arrives. You have an array of track numbers to choose from (between 1 and 5). You can't have 2 trains set to go to the same station if you want to switch cargo between them. That will not work, you need to have two trains between which you reload cargo on two separate, but directly connected stations. Collisions when building are disabled.

I hope you have fun with it, and for the sake of your own fun, please don't use them on your saves for quick, cheap and simple loading/unloading stations for buildings ;).

@rumorange I have the same problem. Maybe it does not work in the newer versions of the game :-(

I bulit one station with 5 tracks for the shorter trains, and one station with 2 tracks for the longer trains. I want the cargo to be switches from the short trains to the long train. The long train should carry mixed cargo (seems realistic to me, trains can deliver many different cargos, not only one cargo). The two seperate stations are connected between them with all kind of connection. Trains are set to "wait until unloaded" (the short trains) and "wait until loaded" (the long train). Unfortunally it's not working. There is no unloading and loading. What can be wrong? Electricity power is available for both station...

Absolutely love the mod and am using it a ton. All I'd like is more versions with even more tracks, ones with anywhere from 6-20 tracks would be fantastic as I am heavily using these for transferring, but tend to find the 5 track limit to be a bit odd when dealing with longer to shorter trains. (I am running larger trains from my mines to a city yard where it transfers to smaller trains into the city itself. I also am having them all wait till fully loaded or unloaded). The only other thing is you seem to have missed steel, prefabs and a few other products that should, in my opinion, be transferable with it.

A long train arrives from the border, the load is distributed and two or more different trains can leave for their destinations ????

mine burnt down too.....!! tried drawing road through it....still burns down..........solution please....?

I have these in use, and one just burned down because there is no road or path connection to it. Could you add in a connection for fire fighting (or set it to not burn down, if that is possible)?

I was using a workaround all the time with 2 freight stations and a covered storage and an open storage in between.

OK so construction materials etc work from cargo stations and other sources just not between the cargo stations I can work with this
