THE STORY:

Oil platform PREDATOR X receives a distress call from the nearby cargo ship LIVYATAN.
According to the captain's report wild animals broke out of their cages and seriously injured some people. They need a doctor immediately.
The oilrig receives the ship, but when PREDATOR X meets the LIVYATAN hell breaks loose...

Phoenix HQ sends an expert team to investigate what happened exactly and save survivors if there are any...

(Could be even good enough for a bad B-movie?)


MAP INFO:

PREDATOR X is a really unique map, with a fully artificial environment. Nature has only one face here: the endless azure of the ocean.

The map has a "multi-decked" layout. Both the rig and the ship has two levels which are opened before every class. Besides those there are some class-specific areas too.

The size of the map can be deceiving at first sight. It looks quite small, but the gameplay area is almost as big as the Transfer map's.

I tried to grant advantages for the different classes and add hiding places replacing foliage for a balanced gameplay.

It wasn't my purpose to model an oilrig authentically till the smallest details. It would be unplayable as a map. Even the current layout is daring enough, but I've done what I could to make an enjoyable and interesting map from this idea.
