Doors & hoods, lights, tilting cabin (those found on a heavy truck), horn & siren (not that good quality), upto 5 group of mechanical movable parts, upto 10 groups of fire extinguishing nozzles, winches, upto 10 groups of controlled doors (like a bus) and a highly customizable spawning system which need some extra effort.

And what I meant by old is I forgot why I wrote some functions as this xD, simply would take too much effort for me to recall what yulun from 2021/22 was thinking.

i'm not suggesting to add more features (unless... is there no extra door functionality?) i'm just wondering what the extra features are in the mod that are like already there (if they do exist)

i think YLVF really doesen't need any new features, it kinda just feels like a complete product. although it feels weird calling something from 2021 "old" even in the modding world mods last a lot longer than that, this feels like a complete product that has a lot more life left in it. its fine as is imo. its already one of the best mods of its kind in games in general

Just add tags to the body which you want it to move, scripting part is done and you don't need to do it yourself.

Other scripts as long as they are not trying to control the same object covered by YLVF, they are fine to be used

But I need to let you know that YLVF would enter long-term support stage very soon and I'm not planning on adding more stuff to it. New features and some of existing YLVF features with improvements would possibly end up being a new framework mod. YLVF is simply too old with too much historical backlogs, refactoring it would take more effort than making a new one.

i'm in the early stages of my own vehicle mod and i'm thinking of using ylvf for the custom spawning. i hear that theres some useful scripting for the doors, but im not sure how they work. what are some of the other features of ylvf?

also if i made my own script for certain things can i use that in tandem with ylvf?

Very great mod. Is it possible to make the fire engine ‘’Rosenbauer Panther‘’ spawnable? That would be really great. :steamthumbsup:

If mods requiring YLVF are not working, seek the creator of that mod rather than me. As this mod is a framework mod and any problems on framework end would be fixed by myself as soon as possible while requiring minor efforts to maintain across game versions. There's no broken parts in this mod at current stage.
