Moshulu (Built as Kurt) was a German Coal Ship from the time She was Launched till 1914, when WW1 broke out she was laid up in Astoria, Oregon. Later being seized by the United States in 1917. In 1917 she was renamed Moshulu and sold to the Finnish in 1935. In 1940 she Was Sized by the Germans and derigged. After Sinking in 1947 (Getting Demasted by a salvage team) She was refloated and returned to the US in 1970.
5 Years later opening as a resterant, Moshulu found her Perminate home in Philidalphia, PA.
2021 she currently floats on the Delware River with 3 other historical vessels, those being: Uss Olympia (C-6) & Uss Becuna (SS-319) of the Independance Freeport Museum, and Uss New Jersey (BB-62) in her own Museum.
