Description:
The E.S.I. Windsor Class was designed to be cheap in both block count and PCU, while still being able to take on ships of a higher weight class. Shooting for 16,000 PCU this ship has no welder systems for the turrets, though can be easily installed on most. A full sized refinery and assemblers along with a med bay and cryo chambers, so you are not dependent on a base. Can crew up to 3 people, though one person can operate and maintain the ship. The Windsor can go into "Combat Mode"(Timer Block Combat Mode) which will depressurize the ship except the C.I.C. The hanger will automatically close and you will have to pressurize the hanger manually after going into "Combat Mode" via button panel in the hanger. A red light will be on in the C.I.C. during "Combat Mode." The hanger can store 2 small ships and can be opened via a small control panel (trigger Timer Block hanger 1, opening sequence takes about 10 secs). Only the crew areas, C.I.C. and hanger are pressurized. Docking airlock at the aft of the ship, compatible with all E.S.I. ships.
