Noonwraith-class Armed Freighter

Noonwraith-class is a middle-sized armed freighter designed for being able to defend from small aggressors- be it makeshift pirate ships or enemy merchant raiders. Although the armor and shilds are lackluster, the armament is comparable to that of a destroyer. Together with its sister Nightwraith-class Armed Tanker, it is the backbone of any prospering wartime economy.

Armament consists of:
8x Triple 203mm (8 inch) light Gauss autocannons
8x 40mm (1.5 inch) eight-barrel, fluid-cooled Gatling-style rotary point defence cannon
