Starframe

Description
Starframe is a tactical, action-focused deck-building game for 1-4 players.
Each player takes on the role of a hero aboard a space station caught in a black hole. The hero with the most Victory Points – called HyperMatter – at the end of 5 rounds will gain a unique engine that can escape the black hole … while everyone else … is left to the unknown …
Players begin the game at the Station … where they obtain new parts and modify their starting 5-part Starframe ship. Each part grants an increase to the Boost, Armor, or Power score of their Starframe. These scores are necessary for players in Space to Defend the Station from attacking Invaders and Salvage HyperMatter from Planets or by Traversing the Abyss.
But watch out! Any HyperMatter in a player’s Cargo Hold can be stolen by rivals in the game. So, you’ll want to bank your HyperMatter back at the Station.
Players will have to employ clever strategies… to obtain the most HyperMatter while bouncing between the Station and Space since each location permits different actions.
Droid cards and Hero Specific Skills … add an extra element of control by acting as cheat cards that help players get an edge on their rivals. For example, the Escape Capsule Droid will allow a player to Bank their HM without being at the Station. And the Mechanic’s Hero Skill, allows a player to modify their Starframe in Space once per turn.
Starframes may contain any collection of parts so long as they don’t exceed 9 cards AND are connected by lining up the golden hardpoints.
In Space…Salvaged Planets are low risk because the stat score needed to succeed is revealed; while Abyss cards, which contain more HM, are more risky since they have an unknown stat score.
Starframes that become overwhelmed by Invaders or an Abyss, decrease their stat scores by the amount that they are able to, then roll the damage dice to see which part of their Starframe is destroyed!
It’s a fast-paced, high-stakes gamble to escape the black hole! Do you have what it takes?
