Prime Runners: To Hell and Back

Description
Steam Info

You've got the call! You're headed to the Big Time. Your meet is in Hell, the lowest level of the famous Dante's Inferno Night Club. You pull this off and you'll be considered one of the best: a Prime Runner.

All you need to do is survive the night.

FEATURES

Recommend Karma: 400+ This adventure was designed for those of you who have maxed out your character's core skills and attributes playing repeatable UGC and are looking for the next challenge. I recommend not trying the game with less than 400 Karma but there 's no upper limit really. So go ahead and pull out that Rigger/Decker/Sam or Mage/Shaman/Phys Ad of yours and give him a go!

Balanced Team: Choose your role in the team and the game will fill in the blanks from a selection of other prime runners to ensure the team has a balance of Combat, Magic and Decking.

The Whole Team Is Part Of The Story: Each team member comes with their own backstory, personality and story arc. Your choices through the game determine what you can learn about them.

Lots of Action: Are big firefights with multiple opponents held in tight spaces your cup of tea? This UGC is for you.

Old School: I grew up playing SRII so I've written this UGC in the old style, you drek-kicking sons of slitches. The trainspotters among you may even recognize a name or two since I used some of my old sourcebooks as reference material.

Complete And Replayable: At the end of the adventure you are transported back to the beginning where you can start all over again or simply bank your Karma and Nuyen and move on.

BUG REPORTS

Please post all bug reports here.

Conversation Bugs: Because I wanted to include the whole team in conversations where ever possible I had to create a lot of scenarios in case certain team members were dead or not selected. I tried to account for any and all circumstances but I'm sure I missed a few. If you get bumped out of a conversation early or stuck in a repeating loop, please let me know what characters were active when you post your bug report so I can figure out how to fix it.

Really enjoyable UGC. Thank you.

Is there a complete list of achievements available anywhere?

I finally played this out, lol. It took a 600+ karma character to do it. My only gripe is that John, a supposed prime runner, was HORRIBLY under armored. He had NO armor at all!! Poor guy kept getting dropped left, right, and center. Also, you may want to give prime runners at least 5 AP.

Other than that, I really enjoyed it. Good story and characters, with a Mr. Johnson you love to hate. Well done. :steamhappy:

Love the style, but the combat is nothing but tedium. A maxed out pc is lucky to hit enemies at point blank with no cover. Shadowrun is all about fast and lethal combat - find an advantage and take them out. Here, tactics are overruled by the RNG. Even firing a wide shotgun burst into a throng of orcs results in zero hits.

Pure randomness is not challenging, not fun, and doesn't feel like Shadowrun.

But I don't think I have nearly 400 yet.

Hi everyone. I've launch a new UGC for Shadowrun: Dragon SE called Be Careful What You Wish For. It's not part of the Prime Runner series but it has a familar face in it.
