Enter the "disable rules" custom challenge and then remove the problematic rule. Then, after starting a new run normally, reenable your rules by clicking on the crossed out "Rules" option on the bottom right of the menu.
I made a rule that activates crack the sky automatically when starting a run and a second that activates crack the sky whenever a crack the sky is used.
Now I can't go into runs with the mod open because my game immediately crashes, for the same reason I can't delete the created rules anymore.
Is there a way I can delete those rules from the game files or outside of starting a run at all or am I screwed?
(I'm on repentance+ without any other mods if that hepls)
Try runing "openkeyrules J" in your console then try again.
And if you dont care about your rules run ("clearrules") in the console, you may have a fucked up one.
If none of these work then I'd need your log.txt file to further identify the issue. In the mentime, I pushed an update that should fix the error you describe but, again, that wont fix your issue since its unrelated.
For the record, just in case, DO NOT USE the specials that are labeled as "(rep)" in the menu if you dont want issues, since you are in AB+ not repentance and those specials need repentance (I suspect this error may be related to that, you using the splash text special when its not available in AB+ iirc)
rules_2403871374/main.lua:8634: attempt to get length of
a nil value (field 'splashtextqueue')'
I used 5 rules, one for each quality, with Quality 0 as an example. I selected a random Quality 0 item in the left square and set the replacement mode. In the lower right corner of the left square, I selected Button 1 to press only once, and the right square displayed a random Quality 0 item.
I am quite sure that Button 1 is set to 'once per press', not 'many times while hold', but the effect is that it replaces every frame.
