Guvsk Nuclear Power Plant (Modular)

Description
What’s this?:
Deep in the heart of Guvsk’s forest sits this, the Guvsk Nuclear Power Plant, lighting up a million homes!! Based on the Soviet Nuclear Power Plants of yesteryear, this modular power plant is a visual representation, based on a collective look of numerous plants across the former USSR.
This item is 3 separate models; a large base building with chimney, alongside a long and short support building.
I’m not a nuclear physicist, and as such, some of this model may not be accurate to the needs of an actual Nuclear Power Plant…but know that in Guvsk, this Power Plant uses Cooling Ponds, rather than Cooling Towers!

Stats:
Base Building
6,529 Tris (has Diffuse, Illumination, Specular and Normal map)
LOD:
210 Tris (has Diffuse, Illumination, and Specular map)
Long Building
729 Tris (has Diffuse, Illumination, Specular and Normal map)
LOD:
44 Tris (has Diffuse, Illumination, and Specular map)
Short Building
331 Tris (has Diffuse, Illumination, Specular and Normal map)
LOD:
35 Tris (has Diffuse, Illumination, and Specular map)

Item is based on the in game Nuclear Power Plant.
You can find it in game via FindIt! mod by searching for "Guvsk Nuclear Power Plant”, and find all three buildings.

Like what I've done?
If you are a fan of this building, it would really mean a lot if you liked it on the workshop! If you have any other pieces of Socialist Modernism/Brutalist Architecture you'd want to see created, just comment below, I am always on the look out for more inspiration!

OR come along to my own Soviet City build on YouTube (we also play Workers & Resources): www.youtube.com/c/chrisbrammer

It is actually pretty accurate, as far as the basics go, but hey, I mean, who would be crazy enough to literally do a 1 to 1 replica of the Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov Lenin Nuclear Power Station, near Pripyat, in Cities Skylines, with all the Buildings, Power Cables, and god knows what else.

I can just place a road in the reactor hall and put the Shor on that

Thank you, Road Anarchy fixed it.

What can I say! I made it to be aesthetic and maybe not practical haha!

It is in 3 parts however so hopefully it can be rearrange anyway you see fit.

@brammered I mean that the back side of the shor, the one that is supposed to be facing the reactor, is inverted, and the entrance, which has the garage, is facing the reactor

What do you mean @orlov-zinon?
orlov_zinon 10 Apr, 2021 @ 12:39am
What can I do to put the "Shor" in-place?
