Welcome to yet another useless mod!

Have you ever been wandering around a swamp, and jump in to defend a poor Frogg from some evil monster, when all of a sudden, the Frogg starts running away from you - because apparently you did damage to it?

It turns out, depiste Frogg villagers being, y'know, villagers, in the base game files they're listed not as villagers, but as regular old NPCs - damageable by anyone. This fixes that! They're now correctly labeled as villagers and no longer take damage from players. UPDATE: As of v1.2, Shadow Villagers and Savannah Villagers are now included! Soon to come: updated icon that reflects these changes, as soon as GIMP finishes downloading.

(Yes, my mod testing setup is a pink cat with an OP sword. Don't judge me.)

  • Fixed Shadow Villagers to be Friendly.
  • Fixed Savannah Villagers (single villagers that appear in savannah and desert biomes) to be Friendly.

  • Fixed bug causing Frogg villager dialogue to be replaced with Hylotl villager dialogue, for some reason.

I just noticed this mod, I have one that I hadn't shared yet that does the same thing, but adds one more NPC, if you want to add it, in the file

deadbeatscrounger.npctype

Same thing, but replace in this case

They are harmless NPCs too, but your crew takes them as enemies and kills them, their counterparts (deadbeatthug.npctype file) if they are "the bad guys", but those specifically are innocent people who usually die at the hands of your crew xD

I hate to try protecting these frogs and black person in dark worlds, when you try to protect the crews killed them.

Do you think it would be possible to patch the Deadbeats as well? They seem to be another race that can be harmed by mistake.

thank f**k someone has actual fixed this i have "accidentally" massacred so many frog villages simply because im confused at what they are classified as

Update: I finished the code for the Shadow villagers and the Savannah villagers (aka desert hermits) so I've uploaded those fixes! Thanks to @Scope and @websurfer1111 for pointing these out to me! Updated icon will be coming as soon as GIMP decides to finally finish downloading.
