my take on the Westland/Sikorsky Sea King. Mainly based on the older German Navy Mk.41's without the Nose Radome. Dimensions are based on the old Sikorsky production model, mainly noticeable due to the shorter rear bulkhead and longer tail.

  • Capacity: 10 Pax
  • Equipment: Radar,Transponder,GPS,Emergeny Beacon, Flares, First Aid Kit, Deffibrilator, Oxygen Masks, 2x Winch Harness, Autowinch, Position Hold

Startup
  1. Check Fuel Qty and Charge, Verify Rotor Brake OFF and Tail Fold OFF
  2. Battery Main - ON
  3. Engine Master Switch - ON
  4. Select Mode [L=Low, N=Normal, H=High]
  5. Parking Brake - ON
  6. HYD PUMP 1/2 - ON

  8. Lights - AS REQUIRED
  9. Engine Throttle to a minimum of both Normal [both to normal for usual operations, high is only to use in case of single engine failure or very heavy load]

Notes
  1. Arming the Autowinch Switch will automatically adjust the rope length to radar Altitude when player isn't in the Harness.
  2. Beacon Locating System will slowly triangulate the postion and draw two Points on the Map. Usually it's the slightly stronger one.
  3. Rotor Brake takes a while to kick in. Especially when engaged at high RPM
  4. Fuel Economy is kinda meh right now but until the Devs adjust the Rotors again it will just need to stay like this.
  5. Position Hold tested in up to 65% Wind (Open Sea).

Credits:
  • GERUNIMO for testing, polishing and throwing together an amazing Radar/Beacon System.
  • WhiteNoise for the Door design and the Position Hold System.
  • - Transponder and Radios
  • - Gyro

Buoyancy? Yeah. No.

why is the pitch so high?

It sends a signal that can be detected by a transponder locator wich could be useful if rescue service can't find you .

Sorry for the silly question but how do you use the VHF radio and the transponder. In addition to that what on earth is the transponder for.

Cheers! found a simple grey jet fuel truck with a hose connector. Thanks for building this craft and all the other amazing looking things. You make the game :steamthis:

You need to manually connect a fuel hose by hand. The default fuelling stations will be enough.

Really love this helicopter. Allround and the gear in the back makes it complete. My absolute no1 go to helicopter. Can someone help me out how to refuel this beast? Tried several fuel trucks but the connector wont fit the fluid port on the left side, next to the crew door?

I do not know either ... my best guess would be stormworks being stormworks.
