Constance from Fire Emblem Three Houses: Cindred Shadows! The last lady of House Nuvelle enters the world of Don't Starve Together with a unique abilities, items with configurable stats, and a custom voice (a piano.)

Constance can craft 4 magic books. These books each have different abilities, infinite durability, and are only usable by Constance. She can also craft a sanity-restoring weapon, her Trusty Fan, that can be used by all characters.

Constance has a distaste for melee weapons, and will deal 50% less damage when using any item not considered a ranged weapon[dontstarve.fandom.com] (her own spellbooks are considered ranged, of course!)

Constance is depressed in the sun, changing her stats depending on the time of day.
During day, Constance experiences constant sanity loss.
During dusk, Constance no longer loses sanity, moves 5% faster, and deals 25% more damage.
During night, Constance gains sanity (except while in total darkness), moves 10% faster, and deals 50% more damage.

Due to the lack of sunlight in caves, daytime while underground will be treated as dusk instead, skipping her sanity loss phase.

Constance spawns into the game with one starting item, the book of Fire, and has access to two other magic books through the Magic tab.


The beginning to the restoration of my house.
Papyrus x3, Red Gem x1 (requires alchemy engine)
Casts a fireball dealing 25 damage.

-Same range as fire and ice staff
-Costs 5 sanity per use



The next step for restoration.
Papyrus x3, Blue Gem x2 (requires alchemy engine)
Conjures a blast of ice dealing 48 damage.

-Slightly longer range than Fire
-Costs 10 sanity per use
-Slows down the target for 2 seconds



Dreams demand risks...
Papyrus x3, Purple Gem x3 (requires shadow manipulator)
Summons a lightning strike dealing 60 damage to the target, and 30 damage any nearby enemies.

-Slightly longer range than Fimbulvetr
-Costs 20 sanity per use
-Aoe damage will not target other players or allied mobs



With this power, I can live forever!
Papyrus x3, Ash x3, Nightmare Fuel x2 (requires prestihatitator)
A health-stealing spell that deals 8 damage to the target and heals Constance for 10 health.

-Same range as Fimbulvetr
-Drains 3 sanity per hit
-Has a small chance to crit, dealing 100 damage and healing 100 health.




Elegance for the insane.
Twigs x3, Down Feathers x3 (requires alchemy engine)
A simple weapon dealing 10 damage per hit.

-Same range as a Whip
-Can be used by all characters, not just Constance.
-Restores 10 sanity per hit.


If Constance has less sanity than her spellbooks require, damage output will be halved and any special abilities (i.e speed debuff and aoe damage) will not apply.

(Spellbook stats can be modified in the config menu.)

Constance is the only known bearer of the Crest of Noa. This crest's ability has a passive chance (35%) to activate each time she uses one of her spellbooks, gaining 4 times the amount of sanity that would normally have been drained. (ex. if Fire normally drains 5 sanity, Constance will instead gain 20)

(Crest activation chance and sanity refund values can be modified in the config menu.)
