The Convair B-36 "Peacemaker"[N 1] is a strategic bomber built by Convair and operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) from 1949 to 1959. The B-36 is the largest mass-produced piston-engined aircraft ever built. It had the longest wingspan of any combat aircraft ever built, at 230 ft (70.1 m). The B-36 was the first bomber capable of delivering any of the nuclear weapons in the U.S. arsenal from inside its four bomb bays without aircraft modifications. With a range of 10,000 mi (16,000 km) and a maximum payload of 87,200 lb (39,600 kg), the B-36 was capable of intercontinental flight without refuelling.

Startup Procedure
You can get in through the hatch near the front landing gear.

1). Sit in the pilot's seat. On the overhead panel, turn on the battery and the three generator switches.
2). On the flight engineer panel, turn on the jet and diesel tank fuel pumps.
3). Open all of the fuel valves
4). Turn on the starters for engines 1, 2, 9, and 10
5). Turn on the engine power button and the "Enable Jet Engines" switch
6). Start engines 3-8
7). Turn on the two hydraulic system switches. This is really important!
8). Sit in the pilot's seat and wait for the engines to start
9). Release the parking brake and throttle up

Bombing Things
To release the bombs, activate the altitude hold and ascend to ~1000 meters. Throttle down to 75 and head downstairs to the bombardier's seat. From there, you can use A and D to control the rudder. Make sure to open the bomb bay doors before dropping the bombs! When your target is in the bomb sight, press the four buttons to drop the bombs.

Hello endo, me and my friend are currently trying to figure out how to make stuff and our favorite plane is the b36, and we want to maybe get a version of the plane that is the hull so that we can make it into the yb60 or a custom variant of the b36, we would appreciate if you would allow us to use the hull, because if we are unable to use the hull we might have to go onto sketchy websites to a b36 hull which we dont want to do, i sent you a friend request so we could talk about it further:steamhappy:
