Tyne tug Joffre

Description
The Tyne harbor tug boat Joffre 1916
  • Top speed of 17.6 Knots
  • 2 Fully functional lifeboats with electric propulsion
  • x9 Rope found at the stern
  • Fire extinguishers, first aid, flares, welding and other equipment
  • Fully automatic Boat transmission
  • Navigation Lights
  • Functional Anchors
  • Boiler room with 4 boilers
  • Engine room with triple expansion engine
  • Stoker quarters with bunks
  • Crew mess hall
  • Wheelhouse with helm, Marconi wireless
  • Fly-bridge with helm

Please note
  • This is not meant to be an exact replica of the Joffre tugboat, just a recreation of it, as such the interior is most likely not accurate (I do apologize for it being not very detailed) as I could not find any deck plans or interior photos, however I tried to make the exterior look as close to the original as possible.
  • This tug can easily capsize with the wind set above 50% if you are traveling perpendicular to the waves, I recommend traveling straight into or with the waves
  • The front bumper is purely decorative and the use of it to move large ships or heavy objects may result in damage to both ship and tug, make sure to have damage off if you are going to use the front bumper
  • Any doors or hatches that are locked are empty rooms

Start Up Procedure
Method One (Quickest and Easiest)
  • Simply head up to one of the helms and press Hotkey 1, the engine will fire twice, this normal, after the engine fires you are ready to go
Method Two
  • Head down to the boiler room via the ladder in the stokers quarters at the center of the ship or the stairs at the back of the aft skylight at the stern of the ship and go through the bulkhead door.
  • turn the keys for the 2 boilers at the aft of the boiler room, the two at the front are purely decorative and it is entirely up to you if you want them on or not
  • head on up to one of the helms when you are done

Operation
  • At the helm to your left, is your throttle lever and reverse (helm on fly-bridge has a dial and indicator instead) At your right is your speed in knots
  • To move forward set the throttle above 0.15 and the ship will take care of the clutch, if in the event that the engines stall they will automatically restart.
  • To move in reverse you can leave the throttle in its current position and hit the reverse button or hotkey 2, the ship will take care of the throttle, clutch and reverse gear and it should last about 2 seconds before you are back in control
  • Hotkey 3 controls the Horn
  • Hotkey 4 turns on/off the Navigation lights

Thats an Idea, something like SS Nomadic or SS Traffic?

I love your creations and the level of detail put into each one. Heres a fan request: A small ferry to ferry passengers and cargo to and from a dock and to a ship and have its own gangway

@tlcawood, Unfortunately I did not include one, this might be something I do later on, however if you want to sink it, I recommend opening the doors that lead to the engine or boiler rooms and capsize it with high wind
