Description
PenguinO's War Game Script
PenguinO's Weapon System (PWS)
was developed during year end of 2020 when PenguinO was mistakenly banned from Official Stormworks Discord because someone thought PenguinO was involving in a website attack that never exist.


System
This system is nearly complete different from Girls und Panzers Effector because this system does not have listening station to response.
Weapons in PWS are to be spawned separated from main vehicle so projectile like bombs, missiles, torpedoes, gyorai, ... etc have own freedom to go away from carrier vehicle.
At the time of the first release, there are 18 premade weapons ready to be loaded to any vehicles (after spawned).
Premade weapons contain keypad to specify which boolean channel will activate/drop from pylon.
Some of them also has channel to specify extra settings or channel to fire for gun/cannon type.
The PWS was tested to work well with Amplified Damage System (ADS)

Instructions
Enable the addon
You have to make "New Game" and enable this addon by going to "Enabled Addons" button then goto workshop tab to enable PWS.
* For first time users, please allow some moments for steam to finish loading/caching this addon before first run *

You cannot just load the addon from mission editor addon editor and assume it must work.
(You should instead ask the game dev why can't people enable/disable mission playlist addon on demand)

For the game save that already have PWS enabled, if update is required, you may try the
?reload_scripts
But for certain updates with too many changes, it's always better to make new game fresh.
I believe there are still bugs about garbage collection from early access unfixed that can hog resource slow the game after hours of playing and saving.


Prepare vehicle
This addon should work with any vehicles.
Pylon, hardpoint, attach point, gun mount, ... etc are called "Pylon" in this instruction note.

To use weapon module, the vehicle should have available Pylon that send Boolean signal via composite logic of electrical connector
Channel number (1-32) is as desired (some modules may have more channels).
Design, sizing or clearance of user made pylon may vary as required.

Spawn Weapon
Type the weapon command into chat box specifying the desired weapon TYPE
Example:
?WPN B200

User Custom Bombs
In case you want custom bomb, rocket, missile, etc..., you can add a dial named "USER_CUSTOM_BOMB_MASS" (without doublequotes) to your own projectile, give it the mass of your projectile (please use valid number for best result :D) and spawn it from any workbench like a separate vehicle.
If done correctly, the server will tell the user that vehicle is identified as USER_CUSTOM_BOMB.
You can even turn any vehicle into a suicide bombing vehicle.
* From version 1.03 and later, using negative mass will make the USER_CUSTOM_BOMB behave like Napalm bomb which is weaker but will light up fire.

*** WARNING ***
Vehicle that spawns with User Custom Bomb as main or any sub body will be identified as User Custom Bomb

The USER_CUSTOM_BOMB will explode if it takes any minimal damage, please be careful.
Additional way to explode USER_CUSTOM_BOMB is to add a push button named "TRIGGER" (without doublequotes) and it will explode whenever that button is ON.

* Do not press TRIGGER with character hand or the game may crash (singleplayer mode)
* This is a known limitation


Loading Weapons into pylons
Please consider this step as a realistic dangerous task that mishap can happen
Premade weapons are with rope anchors, keypad, rails for grippers and an electrical connector.
You can follow graphic instructions from one of the preview picture that shows the Pylon specification.
Loading certain weapons into certain pylon positions can be difficult.
Additional working vehicle like crane or forklift may be handy.
* You may need to set the keypad before loading weapon into inaccessible position
* Do not forget to remove rope from any explosive type weapons as this can give trouble when dropped bomb bungee itself back to you

(For User Custom Bombs, this step may vary)


Firing Weapons installed to pylons
Gun/Cannon type weapons come with configurable FIRE channel so it will fire when Boolean ON received via chosen channel of composite from electrical connector.

All premade weapons come with configurable DROP channel.
Once Boolean ON is received via chosen channel of composite from electrical connector, it will disconnect from electrical connector.
* Bomb type weapons will activate internal fuse if DROP signal once reached and its connector will keep disconnect logic state.

Temporary Solution for not working explosion:
Patch your EXE back to V1.1.18 or use Stormwonks111 (v1.1.1B) or find better games for time being

The OG. This mod had so many features I wish the weapons DLC had, especially flamethrowers and the great looking blast wave.

When i do it i try spawning in a bomb with mybe like ?WPN T200 it spawns somthing in that is like a fuel tank and i cant trigger the bomb also

@jakenotfake He wouldn't have to take it down, ever, if it had to be taken down the developers would remove it themselves.
