Description
Inspired by the 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, this car was designed to be fun, sporty, fast, and functional at the same time!

Update: I've replaced the steering system, it's much more comfortable to use and controllable now!

Normal-roof version: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2380756941

Features
  • Top speed: 137 MPH (220 KM/H)
  • Gyro-stabilized steering system
  • 5-Speed automatic T-III transmission
  • Functional convertible roof
  • Cruise control
  • Full lighting system
  • Seating for 4
  • Folding passenger seat
  • Heater
  • Fire extinguisher, welding torch, med kit, transponder, flare, and flashlight charger included
  • Imperial or Metric units

Controls / Tips

To start, get into the drivers seat, turn the ignition key, and use the Up / Down arrow buttons to select Park, Reverse, Neutral, or Drive.
  • Up / Down: Gear
  • Left / Right: Turn signals
  • Button 1: Lighting mode
  • Button 2: Cabin lights
  • Button 3: Cruise control toggle (hitting the brakes will also turn it off)
  • Button 4: Launch control
  • Button 6: RWD mode (for burnouts and drifting)

- Sometimes when you first spawn, the roof folding process may be rough during its first use (though it will still work) due to a game bug. It will work perfectly every time after that, and driving the car a bit before putting the roof down will prevent the issue.

- Using cruise control to stay around 40-70 MPH (64-112 KM/H) will make driving on the rough Stormworks roads easy and smooth, and give you very good gas mileage for a muscle car.

- The fire extinguisher is in the glovebox because the convertible roof takes up the space a trunk would normally be in.

Also available with a 4-speed manual transmission and red paint:

@Comrade It's normally AWD, I included RWD mode for sick burnouts and drifting. Also, if you're driving straight and you switch it while yanking the wheel, you'll do a nice handbrake turn, it's too fun to not include as a feature :D

Also, why is RWD an option, is it normaly AWD?, or FWD?

Thanks for featuring it, and thanks for the comments! I had to balance the ability to drive in a straight line with being able to turn well, but I'm sure that as I learn more I'll find more ways to have the best of both worlds :)

I used your car in my video! https://youtu.be/22MBWPMriN0 very well done sir this is a pretty durable car and it looks cool! One tip, the steering can be a little slow at times but other than that it’s great!

That convertible roof mechanism is really cool! Nice job!
