Descripción
ADOPTION: I am no longer able to keep my mods updated on Rimworld due to shifting real world priorities. This mod is looking to be re-homed with someone who will be able to continue supporting it. If you volunteer, I will turn over the files to you. My only request is that you credit me as the originator - that's all.

Overview
"Deserters! Traitors! Conspirators! All manner of filth flock to the Rim in piteous attempts to escape justice. A wary traveller would do well to stay armed and alert in these difficult times, because they are surrounded by those who would harm them. From anti-ship weapons fire to poisonous lies, space is filled with the worst of humanity every day. The assorted rabble you come across may not be immediately hostile to you and your brave crew, but nonetheless, they are vicious enemies of the Empire."

Adds dozens of NPC encounters aimed at low-to-mid strength player ships that can be scanned down normally. These vessels will not be directly aggressive to you, as their trials and motivations are far removed from yours. From navy defectors to anti-Imperial insurgents, the Rim is a first-class destination for those escaping Imperial justice. You will cross paths with these stateless peoples looking for survival - how you deal with them is up to you.

This lore-friendly, themed pack includes encounters from three loose groups: deserters, anti-imperial guerillas and political refugees. Their ships will find their way into your corner of space, whether displaced from their homes or acting against the interests of unknown stellar empires.

Deserters
Deserter ships are universally combat-oriented and crewed by professionals. Expect rugged, utilitarian designs escorted by combat drones and fighters that will engage with the tenacity of cornered animals.



Anti-Imperial Guerillas
Guerillas operate on... tighter budgets and rely on fewer shield systems and cannon-based weapons. An emphasis on boarding tactics and projectile gunnery keeps opponents on their feet and ensures a maximal chance of seizing a ship intact for recovery.



Political Refugees
It would be generous to refer to the ships of refugees as 'warships', though they are armed with a few token weapons and their passengers have secured whatever weaponry they could for personal defence. Refugee vessels are characterised by cargoholds cramped with desperate people in squalid conditions, with only the most rudimentary resources and defences. Like everyone else here, they will never shoot first and wish to quietly make their way to a new home.



Requirements and Dependencies
This mod requires Saves Our Ship 2 and its dependencies to function. Compatible with existing saves and can be removed as safely as long as none of the mod's ships are spawned in at the time it is removed.

Licensing and Permissions
The creator gives blanket permission to translators and modders to translate or change the content of this mod on condition that the creator (Bullet Magnet) is credited and that a link to the original mod (if still available) is provided.

Honestly, would this mod be just fine running as is? It only adds in ships from what I can see. Number change is what all this might need, but hey, I’m not a coder.

@tornadrow777 as far as i can tell, it should work with CE as SOS2 works with CE and this appears to be adding mostly ship designs for use by the enemy. Honestly, i would be shocked if it was incompatible.
